You have a very positive outlook, a trait not commonly shared by many in the Western/Global North towards 'others.' In Kenya or the Global South, we have our share of challenges, but you recognize that such challenges exist universally as part of humanity. Positive perspectives play a crucial role in bridging cultural gaps. Acknowledging that every society faces its own set of difficulties contributes to fostering a more inclusive and empathetic worldview. People, irrespective of their location, share common human experiences, encompassing both positive and negative aspects. The advice from the man about writing a book is one of the positive aspects. Put it into consideration.

You’re back on the road 🎉 Btw, been on many safaris for work - that little walk you did is 10x more authentic than the majority of safari experiences. And “walking safaris” are even more expensive and exclusive than regular safaris. So you just had a very rich person experience. As you inch further south, and get out of Kenya, this will become more and more common and you’ll have to keep your head on a swivel as things like Buffaloes, Hienas, elephants and and even Lions do cross highways and roads. It will be an absolute thrill that I can’t wait to watch and I pray you stay safe and alert always! Onwards, so happy for you!!!! 🚵♂️🚴♂️
