I’ve had something similar to ego death I remember taking a weed edible so strong that I was seeing visuals and was changing my perception of myself I came to notice things I have done that I shouldn’t have and became disgusted with myself and was terrified of the home I lived in like the atmosphere of my home had completely changed to something of despair and loneliness it was a very overwhelming experience but it taught me a valuable lesson and I have since fixed those problems

@@captainrob9044 yeah, at high doses edibles can give you visuals and vaguely psychadelic effects. Only edibles tho, something about how the shit breaks down differently in the stomach than smoking it.
@MikeB19722 жыл бұрын
@@diplogg6782 I'm starting to think I may have been on the edge of that but I'm unsure. Really had an epiphany the night I first tried an edible (of unknown strength to me) and smoking along with strong liquor. Maybe the combination of all three did me in? Didn't see anything crazy but had multiple anxiety attacks a couple weeks/ months after. Now I feel like I have a much better understanding of myself tho that's for sure.

I’m watching a video about psychedelics where someone is playing Night in the Woods and Guts’ theme is playing in the background. Somehow 3 different parts of my life came together in a very wholesome way.

I experimented with shrooms and acid on multiple occasions over the past 12 or so years. There were many times I thought I may had experienced ego death, but in hindsight I now know it’s unmistakable when it happens. It wasn’t until the trip I had at the beach last Memorial Day that ego death hit me like a freight train and destroyed my self-absorbed cycle of depression. Here a year later, I remain fundamentally transformed from that singular experience that only lasted the length of a few songs.

Ja, its very obviously when you have an ego death, absolutely no room for doubt.

The ego is merely a persistently imagined thought. “I” experienced ego death after 2 years of meditation. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have it all thrust on you at once with no training and no information… whilst hallucinating and high! I can see how it has the potential to be either the most terrifying or the most profound experience of your life.

Hello, I do not know very much at about meditation at all and have not practised it in a serious way. Could you tell me in more depth how you meditated/ how ego death was achieved specifically ?
@swinnyuk65843 ай бұрын
@@alexanderwitty5349 I mainly practice Self Inquiry & A Course in Miracles. The ego is made of seeking & resistance. When those activities end, there is a chance that the ego will subside.

Carl Gustav Jung's approach to the human psyche helped me understand the concept before actually experience it, which helped me deal with it when it happens, but I have also lost friends who were tipped beyond any scale of sanity, the mind can be scary and equally beautiful, I feel like as usual thanks for collecting and sharing these, gj

I experienced ego death a few months back, found myself in this dark place with silvery fractals off in the background, I made contact with these 2 jester heads swaying from side to side that had this aura of god-like significance about them, like they were my creators and that my consciousness belonged with them in that other realm, kind of like returning to some colony of collective consciousness, it felt like the ultimate realm we all end up in after we die and this trip was just a short glimpse into that next place. I hope to do a 5 gram breakthrough mushroom trip and then it's time to try DMT, and honestly I'm scared shitless about it, to think that after just 3 hits of a pen I'll be trapped in some inter-dimensional cosmic reality for an indefinite amount of time... sounds terrifying.

I heard about a study involving trip reports from. 15000 participants, I don't know the details regarding the parameters of the study but the conclusion was that more NDE and ego death experiences were triggered by the use of Ketamine than any other drug. DMT was second .

Listening to this has brought back feelings that i have felt during a mushy trip and almost tears. I experienced something similar during a NDE and i am forever changed and am now a practicing Hindu 🕉 . I now explore the world as my oyster. It really blew my mind and now am a avid user of psychedelics. My last experience i kept giggling at the universes dirty little secret it was revealing to me. And it was perverted in nature. Perversion is jusy the drive we all have to reproduce and it is so intense it shows itself as perversion. Without it the human race would die out. Its the universes way of populating the cosmos with biological life. The drive and/or desire to have sex. Kundalini is in us all and she wants to be bred she is the reason humans still exist Without kundalini we wouldnt be here. If you wish to further your spiritual growth i suggest leaning towards kundalini Hinduism takes it pretty deep.

Your ego is responsible for causing a problem, and your ego traps you in guilt for the problem it caused. Read into this what you will.
