I’m STing a Geist Chronicle and the Memory mechanic is a blast to use because one of the players uses the Well Haunt that allows their Sin-Eater to use Memories like and Absent Ghost and that makes for some amazing storytelling hooks

Tian Skywalker I think you lose any minor template when you gain a major one, but you know, there’s no rules police, so do what you want with your group ;)

Considering Sin-Eaters aren't alive and have a literal Rank 3 + ghost as their soul, and Vampire vitae is addictive due to mystical and not medical properties, I'd say it would not work. That said, like Cheese said above, it's your game, and do what you want as long as the ST is down for it.

A CoD book is poorly edited? Colour me surprised! Seriously though, it is frustrating that the books are so hard to read, I adore the setting and system, but I would have hoped that after about 30 years of game lines, someone would have overhauled the editing style.
