I’m current,y 1 year into my 2 year Radiologic Technology program. I realize now how lucky I am to be doing clinicals at a public hospital and how much I am actually exposed to after watching this video. I do mobile studies, fluoroscopy, surgery, CT, and regular X-ray exams daily!

Hi, thank you for your video. Its really informative. I am about to apply for some courses. However, I have a question. I will be happy if you can reply me🙂 I am 33years old, and I am planning have a baby in the future, but do you think is it possible to have a baby while i am studying in Uni? Like time manage wise (do both care baby and study)and is placement flexible for a pregnant student? OrIt could be dangerous? Thank you

Radiography is very flexible and accomodating to pregnant ladies. I am currently in my first trimester, and honestly, I am struggling physically - from chronic fatigue, unsettle bowel and mood swing. I am glad that I work in radiography because all my colleagues work around me to make sure I am not doing anything risky to myself or my foetus (So it is not dangerous). I have heard about pregnant student doing placements and sometimes they may have to postpone their clinical time depending on the situation. I have also met plenty of mature radiography students who have children. I think it is do-able but you need to take it easy and be realistic about how much studying you can do on...
