Fantastic video. Thanks a lot. I just picked up SFV again, today, as I felt like giving it another try. I had next to zero idea what I was doing, as the tutorial explained next to nothing, so I was just practicing inputs and stuff like that in the training mode, to see what everything does and how things work. Good to know there are more detailed tutorials, even if I don't fully understand why they're hidden away in the Challenges menu. But yeah, this was a great video that I think is gonna help me a lot in the future, as I think I have a better understanding of what to do and how to go about it. I appreciate it. Thank you!

I was thinking, if they made the Online spectation part of the game free-to-watch, I think that would get/keep a lot of those who haven't converted yet interested and eventually they'd want to join in and would buy the game. Just make that part of the demo. IJS. Thoughts?

Something I want to do in sf6 with my basic guides is make sure you stay away from “terminology”. Someone brand new may not know what “rush down”, “zoning” or “mixup” is. I wonder if this would be a pain point

Really great video that I wish I had back when I started. I love how this gives the real practical stuff that you need to know to actually learn. If you know your frame data, blockstrings, etc you can use that to solve problems you face. A lot of guides tell new players to not worry and just play. That's basically throwing someone into the ocean without teaching them to swim. Good stuff, man!

I don’t know if this is the case for anyone else but doing training in between rounds I think hurts me more during my sessions. I tend to look for certain combos instead of just going with the flow of the match. Not to mention the pause before matches can help with the mental fatigue I feel.

I doubt SFV is gonna "be over". People will definitely still play it. Sf6 will probably boom in the first few days, but once the hype dies down there are bound to be some people who don't like it and will stick to V. I myself just bought V and will be sticking to it cause my potato won't be able to run 6.

I just hit Plat after being a scrub Gold for years (now a scrub Plat) but I feel like this video applies just as much. It’s good to stay grounded and make sure your taking the basics with you into higher ranks too. I’m so surprised how many plat players don’t have great fundamentals either.

I just recently picked him back up before the climb to plat and I’ve have barely touched the training room. I guess he is kinda like riding a bike for me. If I do mess up I just tell myself it’s a “tactical reset”. No such thing as dropped combos 😂

I have a question when setting up the dummy to mash on wake up, something the dummy won't do the move that's why u were matching the button right? How do I know if the timing was the fast as possible should it be 0.3 that appears up the screen, and those 0.3 correlate to 3 frames or should it be lower? like 0.2? Thank you for the video

When you try to set the wake up option you went to make sure you hit it on the reversal frame When it pop up, that means you timed it right
