Hang in there Alice. It's normal to get attached to the trucks. They each have their own personality and they are like part of the family. They can haul you into the worst snow storms and get you back out of it safe and sound and get you back to the house. They put money in the bank every week. I was good with that video until the end photo's. Gheez, you're killing me here, The new truck is looking more west coast hot rod the more you guys work on it!! Stay safe out there kiddo!

You already know but take a sm all flat blade screwdriver and spread the male part of the plug in you might do a couple of them it will help keep your cord tight If the still make them like that It has only been about 30 years ago or more they may have a new and improved type plug in drop and hook like you do get a new cord and keep your old one for a spare You guys will survive some wont but you will Be Safe

I know how you feel girl about getting rid of a truck that you love. Before I left California had a brand new spanking Freightliner conventional. Or the cat super 10. I know you're thinking while I was only Freightliner. But the last three trucks that I drove. Brand new listen to Thousand Miles. I was started off with the worst pieces of crap they were ever on the highway . But this last one it had a large sleeper refrigerator everything in it. And was painted to my color because it was white. And it was Painted Black Metallic with the red chrome pinstriping like the second one. These are us were moved from the back to the front side and yes it had dual stacks. I do it for about 6 months. Lot of loads to Southern California Phoenix Reno Oregon Washington State. But when my old lady decided she wanted to come to Missouri to visit her brothers. I stayed behind I basically lived in that truck for a month or two. She decided to stay over here. And I other for kids. So it was either I stayed in Ukiah or moved to Missouri. So I came over here. After all them years I didn't want to drive truck anymore. She got it she was running the convenient gas station truck stop here. And her brothers brother ran a Ready Mix company. I didn't want to drive so I started again. Strove the worstest pieces of s*** again. Never did Drive anyting newer than 86. . Now I'm a bachelor again. A lot of good it did me to come back 21 years together we had a girl and when I got together with her she had a six-month-old baby boy I was the only daddy ever had. They're all in your thirties now. My other for kids one in Southern Cal 3 in Northern Cal. And they're all in their forties my oldest is 48. And I haven't seen him in 5 years.. if it's hard to give up something you love and I'm talkin about driving a truck and I'm talkin about something nice. Oh well. Take care of Alice. Freight is slowing down for everybody - recession is on the way....(already here, really). As for those guys backing in next to you at CEVA, I'll bet my next pay check that the driver doing the backing is a new trainee. We all had to learn how sometime, somehow 😁😁! What size tires are you running on the Pete? If you're running 24.5" (and they look almost brand new), and the shunters or truck that dropped that trailer have worn 22.5's, that could account for you having to drop the air bags on your Pete..... I love blowing the air horns when passing through the Carlin tunnels - just like you guys!!😆😆
