Lon I got put onto you and your work by a dear friend and I really like what I see. And 100% I absolutely agree with you about Facebook! Now with this knife my dad owned a Bill Bagwell he left it to charity before he passed and i understand why he did that. But ever since I was a boy I have always wanted to own a Bagwell and thats what led me here. I am extremely impressed by the workmanship of your blade craft, and would definitely love to purchase one of these knives from you. I wanted to know if it would be possible to have you create one of these knives with a handgaurd that would give it some extra protection.

I was searching around on DLT trading last night for a new fixed blades bowie to carry for hunting wild boar and deer. I came across your Bell Bowie and I just fell in love with the overall design. Hi Lon! Looks fantastic. I have recently become aware of your work and I really like it. I got a Retribution a few days ago and will soon have the Bell Bowie in my hands. I think it’s very interesting to see and learn about how the knives are made. It makes me care more about the knife when I have insight in the knifemaking process and the craftsmanship. Thoroughly enjoyed the videos on your channel showing you at work. Is the Retribution and the Bell Bowie hammer forged and heat treated by you? If yes, do you also hammer the shape and angles of the bevels and the swedge? I have many knives, but have until the purchase of your knives, never owned one that is actually hammer forged. I’m genuinely fascinated!
