The bells of Lustleigh, Dartmoor, Devon

This is a selection of audio footage taken from the test piece rung by Exeter St Petrock ringers in the 2009 Devon 6-Bell Call-Change "Final" held at Lustleigh (Tenor 12cwt in G). The test piece invloves rising the bells in peal, ringing the "Sixty-on-Thirds" and lowering the bells in no less than 15 minutes. 12 teams qualified for the final. Exeter St Petrock ringers were placed 4th with 26.5 faults.

This team of ringers made a realy good job. I rang these same bells in Lustleigh for more than 30 years as that was my home village. I am so glad that the bells are still rung in my home church that I left behind now living in Canada.
