The Belly Band Concealment Holster

The Belly Band is the most versatile and most comfortable method of concealment available. You can wear it in almost every situation! i tested one from ebay that was a little too small for my waist (the fine print says 37" small) , but i was able to test it a little without turning blue. 1) it will stay up with or without pants 2) no way that velcro could peal or separate regardless of body position or, i'll speculate, body activity. that pistol is in there really snug and comfy. Yet, i could do a left-handed cross-draw - no problem.

I would only wear a bellyband shifted to the back because if someone already has a weapon drawm on me I could reach it from my back much more unnoticed than retrieving from the front while raising my shirt or armor.

Good option. I've had mine for two years. Only thing. if you have friends/family who like to hug, might not work for you(unless they don't care that you're carrying). I have all types of holsters, and, depending on the day and occasion, I use what makes the best sense. I will say that, the belly band holster is one of the more versatile. I also love the fact that you can easily carry an extra mag. These holsters are relatively cheap($15 to $50) so everyone should have at least one.

Good demo, but one of the biggest issues with holsters is guns falling out of them. Does the inside of the pockets have anything that helps to increase the grip on the firearm to help prevent it from slipping out of the belly band?

Love the idea's I think its great I haven't had a holster I like yet besides the galco inside waist band super tuck. For me holsters are very uncomfortable during the summer months, an the older I get the worst holsters become annoying im willing to give this a try, dont care what type of holster you have rather its inside or out you leave that holster on all day it gets annoying. An I really hate holsters when I have to use the restroom this new holster is a plus for me. I love to carry in the winter months just throw the gun inside your coat pocket but make sure it has a zipper.

What about carrying one In the chamber? It's not like kydex where you don't have to be worried about the trigger being pulled while carrying. Like your shirt accidentally pulling the trigger.

It works well if you have a shirt that is NOT tucked in. If your shirt is tucked in it is a lot more difficult. I've noticed that most of these carry conceal ads 99% of the time show the person without a tucked in shirt. It is a deep concealed but for wearing a tucked in shirt I prefer the "Urban Carry" I can place my M&P shield and conceal it well. It is also easier for me to draw it out.

I purchase a belly band and because skeptic about the cloth pouch. I wasn't sure that the elastic would end up inside the trigger guard and set set a round off. Plus I don't like the idea of the retentions straps that secure the pistol so that it doesn't fall on the ground seem to be a bit awkward to release to draw the pistol. I notice that the bellyband you showed doesn't seem to have one which I would consider a critical safety issue as it relates to retention. If you did have it you never bother to latch the pistol down in the video which should be done...

I have a BellyBand and have found it to be an excellent method of carry. That being said. I have one point to bring up; I am left handed. Putting the tag on the outside is not workable for me because there is lessened restraint on not only the firearm, but more importantly, on the magazine. With the tag to the outside the magazine has a tendency to wiggle its way up and out of the mag pocket. I find no problem with the cant of the firearm when I wear my BellyBand tag-side in.

@NosoCOMINSOON glocks are designed with 3 internal safety's. They have been thrown at walls, dropped from tall buildings, used and abused and have not fired without someone pulling the trigger. No external safety's are necessary other than the one in your mind.

Yes I have a hybrid. It's great. I can slide it pretty much anywhere on my torso. Shoulder, back, stomach, under arms and even thighs. Depending on what I wear, I just move it to where it conceals the best.
