A real pleasure to read! And to hold and behold as well, to boot! Can one hope for more?! :D

This review sums up exactly why I count on Theion Publishing to produce books, which consistently reflect both the ideas of authentic “left-hand path” thinkers and the underlying source material that inspired them. Other publishers in same class are hit-or-miss, while others, though rarely reviewed here, wrap up utter dross in shiny animal skin, call it “left-hand” path and then presumably make a buck or two. Perhaps that is how it goes with any market and its up to the consumer to make an informed decision or risk getting burned. I will, therefore, take the opportunity to thank Foolish Fish for making it a great deal easier to find the publishers, authors and books that are amongst the upper registers in quality of content and “beauty”! Without FF, my shelves might well be sadly deprived of these beautiful volumes that adorn them now, because the reviews I found here.

Adam, I'm so glad you feel that way! It seems from your words that I'm managing to do the thing that I set out to do - cut out at least a little of the research work for people who have other things to do with their lives xD And let me reassure you, you won't be seeing any "Become A Living Grifter" reviews on my channel any time soon ;P

I highly recommend Richard Gavin's fiction as well. If you like darker fiction and folk horror, Grotesquerie and Sylvan Dread are both fantastic short story collections.

I love your attention to ditails in your book reviews. I love clothbound books, but the quality can be lacking at time, so it's good to see someone go over those ditails. The Benighted Path sounds really interesting. A really good left hand path book can be hard to come by. Especially affordable ones. I have a small budget, buying good book can become difficult at times, but as a left hand path practitioner books like this are a gold mine. So thank you for the always wonderful reviews.

I got EXTREMELY lucky and found a barely used copy on Ebay at a decent price! It's very difficult finding books like this after the initial print.

I've been interested in the left hand path for some time so I've added this one to my list..I was wondering.. my main fascination is on the esteem side.. the aghori baba..I was wondering if you knew any good works on this particular sect?

Interesting the second book is beautifully made as for the front cover it looks like a depiction of Hekate, with the moon, and the rune called Thurisaz (Thursday) which got me thinking is that Hekate’s day like Freja’s day is Friday?! 🤔😊😁🙌🏻👍🏻✨🪬✨❤️🔥💎💎💎Lovely and thorough book reviews that are concise so thank you Foolish Fish X
@FoolishFishBooks2 жыл бұрын
It's an interesting thought. My approach has always been that Hekate's day would be Monday - the day of Selene, I expect the Hail Hekate course I'm currently taking with Jack Grayle will clear that up :)
@BenedictaXValentina2 жыл бұрын
@@FoolishFishBooks well thank you for clearing that up for me and you are currently doing a course about Hekate and the dark flame/shadow work etc, I take it? 🤔😁🥰🙌🏻👍🏻
@FoolishFishBooks2 жыл бұрын
@@BenedictaXValentina Jack's course really covers every aspect of Hekate in its historical context, with a focus on the practical takeaways for a modern practitioner, so yes, both light and dark aspects of Hekate are covered.
