Nice and useful video! You are covering really important points in your videos! Just a question a bit not related to the topic… what about a battery consumption when steam deck in a sleep mode?I had an impression that it consumes around 10% in a day, which is pretty a lot…

Standby times aren't great. I'd say 10% in a day sounds about right. This is probably a result of the SD using an x86 chip as they just suck power in standby.

Hello my friend do you recommend me to buy Steam deck oled or not And is it strong for games or not
@TaylorBrauer4 ай бұрын
If you're comparing against the LED version of the Steam Deck then yeah, the screen is much improved. It gets a little more complicated when you compare to something like the Ally. I'd recommend researching devices that fit what you're expectations are and go from there.

The issue with laptops, atleast with the windows machines, most gaming laptops dont really support the type c display out. Usually the type c port uses the cpus integrated gpu. Not the dedicated one. Its more of an issue with the type c port on the machines rather than the dock itself. If the device supports display out using the dGPU, there shouldnt be any issues.

I tend to agree in general that the port is important when considering display connections. However, the Alienware and the Mac both output directly from the GPU which I've verified with other devices. Which leds me to believe there is a power limitation, when it comes to desktop like laptops, with the dock and the amount it can output.

And how many fps on 4k do you get and high demand games,like cyberpunk, GTA and more?! On a steam deck with this Dock?
@TaylorBrauer2 ай бұрын
Like 5 lol. If you're looking at 4k on those games with the Steam Deck you're looking at the wrong console.

100 bucks is way too much for a dock. just go with the official steam deck dock at that point

Well, they are different. The big difference is that HDMI 2.1 port.
