I think it is the zoo with the most species in continental Europe. Next time you are in Berlin and feel the urgent need to look at some animals, give the Tierpark a try. It is the zoo of East Berlin. They have fewer species, but because the grounds are larger, it is more like a park and the animals have bigger enclosures. Also, they are one of the few zoos in Europe that keep Pallas cats, the most grumpy looking feline you will ever see.

Then you haven’t been to the zoo in Leipzig. That’s the biggest and most beautiful zoo in at least Germany! ☺️ Berlin is a joke in comparison

@@mariannwenzel5050 Leipzig is indeed a nice zoo. But that wasn't the question here. The question was about the number of different species kept at the zoo. Leipzig's whole idea is to show fewer animals, but in themed settings.

I was in 2013 in the berlin zoo. It was my birthday, nice day. Buuut the concert night before the zoo day was a bit of wet and nasty. Cheep Bier and Mexikaner in a role was not my best plan. 🙄 Zoo with a head from berlin to brisbane is not a good tip. 🤫😱 The zoo was good and the goats friendly. 😂👋🏻

@@margretblaswich Idealerweise sollte man tun was man liebt, und lieben was man tut. Das wäre in diesem Fall also die logische Konsequenz und ein "perfect fit" dazu.
