In 1932 Jay Correira, the proprietor of the Swizzle Inn in Bermuda wanted a special drink for his Inn, what he created has been recreated many different ways, but below you will find the original recipe for what is now the National Dink of Bermuda, the Bermuda Rum Swizzle. Tasty, refreshing full of fresh fruit juices this cocktail will kick your home bartending skills up a notch, so take a look and "let's get Pouring!"
Ingredients:
1 oz Gosling Black Strap Rum
1 oz Appleton Estate Signature Jamaican Rum
.5 oz Mr. Boston Triple Sec
.5 oz Falernum
1.25 oz freshly squeezed Pineapple Juice
1.25 oz freshly squeezed Orange Juice
.5 oz freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
Dash Angostura Bitters
Pineapple slice and fronds for Garnish
Directions:
Add Gold Rum, Triple Sec, Falernum, juices and Bitters to Shaker. Add Ice and shake to chill. Strain into a glass ¾ full of crushed Ice. Top with Black Rum, add ice if needed and garnish
