I think he was pretty accurate in his descriptions Ellis though I might have changed a couple of dishes. U am not really a sticky rice fan though. There are many "soto" soup varieties Soto ayam, soto betawi and many more. One unique dish is rawon a black soup but you might find it too salty but the taste is very delicious. Of course whatever you are eating you can always ask for chili sauce or sambal. I really hope that you can make it to Indonesia as you have supported a lot of Indonesian talent I am sure a lot of your subscribers would also be excited aabout that!

It is pretty accurate, however he might have missed 'bakso' and soto. Bakso is meat ball soup eaten with vermicelli and noodle, with Asian veggies. Also very popular Street food and comfort food for many Indonesians. Then soto, another clear soup with chicken or beef.
