Have you thought about getting a tank you can put in the truck bed that has a standalone pump so you can fuel the mustang from it? You could remove it before you went to do anything fast with the truck.

turbo on the ls will make a lot more boost.. while leaving it mostly stock so cheaper , just valve springs and injectors all you really need . roll pan looks a little off color, keep the bed cover. don’t do no spoiler lol. flip kit in the rear gonna be your best option , super cheap just time consuming . if you wanna get it even lower, put 2 inch blocks in it too

"If you can only afford one vehicle make it a truck" Yeah I know poor fuel mileage isn't feasible for some. I see a trailer for your truck in the future. With all your bikes, the Mustang etc. It makes perfect sense to have one so you can pick up a busted vehicle, or get more E85!!! I know you're making it into a hot rod, but I bet if done up reliably as you're very capable of, and being just a 1/2 ton you could make it work for you. I am ready to give my son my old truck as its time for a new one for me very soon. My old 2004 Ford F150 STX with the lowly 4.6 two valve engine has been as reliable as a rock.I bought it when it was 5yrs. old in 2009 and going on 10yrs. of great service to me...I bass fish so a truck is a must for hauling a bass boat...Anyway I'm hoping to move up to a 3/4 ton truck this time around, and keep it a simple gasser engine works for me...Cheaper to buy and very reliable as well, and I don't put on tons of miles..Good luck with your build!

Wouldn't it be easier to purchase a couple 55gal drums of E85 Race Fuel from a local Race Fuel distributor . just place the drums in one of your garages . Only thing would be installing a ground rod to ground the 55 gal drums Think this would be safer than storing fuel in those plastic fuel juggs

I have an 02 Sierra that I’m gonna start putting money into and any cheap mods I’m all for so keep them coming. Only issue is I have the 4.8L but I can still work with it. Check out the guy in PA who LS swapped into a Colorado. It’s fast as shit. Up there with your stang. The crazy part is the bottom end is completely stock 6.0L.

flip kit requires you to notch the frame and with the hangers you don't have to notch but you'll be hitting the bump stops all the time

You should get a big drum and get a hand pump on it and just fill the big drum up with your new truck at a gas station that sells e85 and with the hand pump you can just fill up your smaller jugs when you need more E85
