The Best $12 I've Ever Spent on D&D

This has been going on for weeks now. They also have that Dragonlance board game for $10. Not much going on with the board game itself, but it comes with six 1" minis generic, varied, and paintable to be useful at most tables. Six figures for $10 isn't a terrible deal, I just don't know if I want to grab another due to how much other stuff there is I won't use out of it.

OMG are you the one that bought them all up in my area? My wife found them one day and told me about it, (She didn't exactly know what a deal it was), and when I went back to ollies for them, someone had emptied the shelf.

The unfortunately disappeared near me too quickly. I did manage to get my hands on the terrain one, but the creatures one was the one I wanted, but they had already been grabbed.

Same here i bought two creatures and two terrain (i had terrain one already) then came back aall the creaturss were gone so i got a few terrain for the HS club they have.

I'm disappointed you didn't talk more about the weight of the token discs from the Creatures case. They're really nice and heavy, not cheap plastic like I thought they were going to be. Also completely missed the grass flipside of the tiles and the stone flipside of the folding board. The grass side of the tiles don't have their grids lined up properly, it's a bit jarring after you notice it, but I don't see many people using the grass side of the tiles anyway.

Yeah the discs are pretty good quality. As for the grass tiles not lining up properly I bet some scatter terrain could break it up enough to help.

I remember when these came out, they were like $50. They so missed the price point for this. I like the Paizo Pawns alot more.

Yeah those are pretty cool. I considered trying to find another set of creatures and make a bunch of acrylic standees with the stickers.

Getting started with 40k, any tips how to start?

The 40k intro set is actually pretty good. It includes almost everything you need to get started. A can of spray primer and a model knife will round you out. I have an unboxing video on the channel if you’re interested.
