Ive had the original xk55 and an xp35-3 middy do make amazing poles ,the only downside is the kits not been slotted and bushed , getting spares can be a problem too

Think the Air Z Pro, Sphere Zero-G, Aventus 9000, UK1 Accomplice, MTX5 and MV-RXX to name but a few might argue otherwise 🤷‍♂️

All of those you mention are significantly more expensive. The xz65-3 represents the best balance between cost and performance of all flagship poles and still be one of the best.

Actually side by side none. However, have handled the Air Z Pro, Sphere and Aventus and of the 3 imo the Daiwa wins. My own pole is an Acolyte Pro and if I had the chance again in that price range the ZX65 would definitely of been a contender as would the Colmic Nucleare S31 which would probably win the day. No doubting the Middy is a fantastic pole for it’s price point but are you really saying it is the BEST pole EVER made which is quite a bold statement? Imo that accolade actually goes to the Daiwa Tournament 710. The only pole I have ever handled that really made me go wow. On a different planet in it’s day 👍

Why does the phantom not come as a standard if it is a flagship pole? Sounds like just another money grabbing trick

XZ, XK, XP all come with a Phantom kit

Until it can do a 16lb barbel out the trent on a fast flowing section with a flat float set 16ft deep I wont be buying one
