I've always said that the MPM-4 (and the Black Apple one) were good figures, but i didn't saw them as the definitive version of the Bayverse Optimus, i'm glad I was proven correct, though i'm heavily debating which one to get because they al see fantastic

I absolutely agree! I hesitated from purchasing the Black Apple Optimus for years because I thought it was too finicky, and the body proportion was not as improved much in comparison to the MPM-4 at all. Both of their proportions pale in comparison to the non-transformable ThreeZero Optimus. But these new ones definitely resemble the ThreeZero proportion much more closely!

Yet the mpm 4 don't use fake parts. Which is i prefer more than the proportions. Also the cgi itself is the problem here. The inconsinstency of the car parts on bot mode and on the alt mode. The most noticable os the proportion of the windows and the doors on the chest of the figure. The doors are too small for the windows on bot mode yet on a real truck they scale the same.

Plus, if it is truly impossible to make a figure accurate in both modes using actual vehicle parts, It’ll be okay to make them as accurate as possible while maintaining a transformation as well. No matters what fans prefer, there will be options on the market for all of us, which will be awesome

@@TranKollector on the ut and tmt release it is obvious that they consist of too many fake parts. But i have faith on mm02 that they don't use fake parts that much. The chest of mm02 is not as good as the cgi yet the doors and the windows scales correctly.

@@danielvicente9544My nitpicks with the MM-02 are that it doesn’t have the mechanical details (3 prongs x2) under both shoulders, and that the proportion is too round with quite shallow details. Hopefully the figure will be improved further before its official release

TMT's is set to release during the 1st quarter of next year but may be delayed. The DOTM abs will probably not be on the final product. 3:33 thats also my comparison photo from tfw2005. :) They also changed the butt flaps. They are working on improving the articulation. 5:40 That is not how he looked in the movie. That is concept art. He had his red and blue colors in the movie but they were faded a little bit. Not as much as the concept art though.

Oh niceee! I didn’t know it was you. Hopefully the improvements will get integrated smoothly and the figure will still be delivered by Q1 of 2025. An alternative abs piece doesn’t seem to be that hard to not be included. Hence, I still hope that it’ll come out along with the figure 🤞

These are OS MPM-scaled figures! They are expected to be ~29cm tall, which is much taller than Voyager or Leader class figures
