Unfortunately this thing is tremendously illegal in Canada. However I can have a semi automatic with a 10rd magazine able to shoot .300 Win Mag which would go through anything other then lvl 4 body armour. Obviously this is of no interest to me but Canada is scared of small guns and crossbows, not big and tremendously powerful.

Make the pulling handle twistable, this will help for hand to take a most comfortable position. 2. Make a pulling hand expandable, so the perfect draw could be possible, the trigger could be controlled by wire(like breaks on bicycle). 3. Make it possible to attach multiple bands to make it even stronger, light triangular inserts could help. 4. Add silencers for the string.

@Taolan8472
@Taolan8472 4 жыл бұрын
Most 3D printers are entirely self contained. You just need to get the instructions formatted to the right file type, load the files and machine, and press 'run'. Just make sure that you use a proper high density polymer for projects like this. The lower cost lower density polymers are meant for prototyping and not production runs.

Jeorg, at 11:00, use a steel ball and make a target that is a loosely hanging steel disc (so it can move), but restrained so it faces a little down, so the ball will hit it and bounce down into a bucket. The loud ringing noise when it hits the target will be very good for the video.

Yes totally pointless. That's why in Germany there are around 1 gun murder per 1.000.000 people while there are 35 per 1.000.000 in the free USA So, if the US had a similar rate as Germany that would be 8160 fewer people dead. Each year. That's more than 9\11 or the Iraq war. Each year. Final note, how come people flip their shit when there are SOME restrictions on the freedom to carry guns while they don't even notice or care if there are multiple restrictions on all kinds of other freedoms, for example freedom of speech etc. You can take my guns out of my cold dead hand ... sure no problem if there is no free press.... hypocrites

With the availability and cheapness of 3D printing, I wonder if the Legolini can establish a new competitive shooting sport. I once tried shooting a compound bow and didn't really find it that much fun, but the Legolini looks a lot more fun. I'll definitely build one to try out.

to think that defending yourself from an invader could be considered abuse, when using a certain type of weapon.
@erebostd
@erebostd 4 жыл бұрын
It isn't. In case of a justified self defence you even could use (as an crazy example) an illegal gun in germany, and only would be charged for possession of that illegal gun. If you need to defend yourself, you can use whatever you want to. You can't buy a scuba ranger with the intention of self defence, that would abuse. Last year a hunter shot and killed a home invader with his hunting rifle, and after it was clear that it was self defence and nothing else, he went free of charge, no problem.
