AH YES, Sonic GT is my goated 3D Sonic game. I keep telling myself that if Sonic Team ever wanted to return to the adventure formula, then this is the blueprint. It's just so perfect! Control is so smooth and tight. The lack of boost meant that you had to master the speed and momentum. To the point that soaring over the stages isn't a flaw, it's the reward. I keep coming back to this game to achieve the perfect run and it just never gets old. Glad someone is just as obsessed with this game!

As a big fan of SRB2 (and since you mention it) I really like the fact that this game allows you to remain airborne thru periods of stages. This game seems to be fast, fluid and momentum-based… which is what I like in a Sonic game. From what you’ve shown, I’m really excited to try out this game again P.S. I like when you go off-script because if you hadn’t said you did that, I wouldn’t have been able to tell. You’re really great at writing and also speaking freely! Awesome video as always

I absolutely love sonic gt The game feel on the overall speed is PERFECT Stages are huge and flowy and incredible looking overall Wish this could be on mobile Dont ask why I do have a pc I just want to play this masterpiece on the go, cuz just zooming around the stages is oddly relaxing for me, and i do want that feeling outside my daily pc gaming But outside of it I absolutely love it And seeing someone recognize it on 2025, speaks a lot about this masterpiece of a game :3 Sunset boulevard best stage

​@@ZachTheInsomniac Sadly I don't, I'm a big fan of handhelds tho I'm currently not able to afford me some gaming power in any meanings besides my current laptop (that has no battery for sketchy reasons), But I am planning to later on get myself a retroid pocket 5, that hopefully can emulate pc or something X3 Could get a steamdeck if it wasn't as pricey 😭 Btw excellent video bud, new sub for sure :333

I love Sonic GT, easily the best fangame from a control point, and I really want to knock down the game's story mode due to Sonic being really out of character, but then again Sonic's been out of character for a decade so I really can't say much on that. Though I wish the game was longer, what we have is genuinely amazing. I would pay actual dollars to have a full game with this engine and level design alone.
