Their 4 stars are an open field of creative freedom for the developers, and Kuro doesn’t use that as an excuse to make the 4 stars horrible , 4 stars don’t feel useless like smthing u js skip , they are so unique I love it, other games make the 4 star a cheaper version of a certain 5 star , so far kuro has made the 4 stars strong and unique and most importantly a field of creative freedom .

One thing I didn't talk about in the video because it deserves its own separate video is how varied and unique each character is. They all play in wildly different ways and emphasize different mechanics in the game, while still being simple enough (besides Danjin) for any player to learn fast.

@@caryhapeman3173 Aalto is generally for 1vs1 a boss his taunts are useful. Taoqi is generally pretty slow gameplay, and she scale with def, so you can practically tank anything with her and most of her dmg comes from Rocksteady defense and Ult if theirs going to be a weap that kinda buff Ult + Ult buff with resonator this will make her good as hell given the CD is only 16 sec, i still use Taoqi because i don't have Zhezhi or Yinlin for Jinhsi. Yangyang is practically a replacement of Sanhua, if you don't have Sanhua at S6 yangyang will do, the only reason why many prefers Sanhua because she gives buff to basic attack so much better useful overall for many teams, rather than giving R.Energy but if you have char. that has fast Ult CD and good dmg, yangyang S6 is good as she increase ATK for 20% for all team for 20 sec while still giving good UIt dmg everytime you swap with her, she's more a dps foremost than subdps. Mortefi is very niche for now its not because of his kit but the char. Kuro adding currently does more Basic Attack than Heavy, but if your a new player Mortifi + Yangyang is good, reason being you're going to spam yangyang heavy attack to get her Forte and you buff Mortifi R.Energy gain to spam his Ult or if you got Jianxin as a DPS.

80 Corals is too much. It "only" buys you a ten pull but it's also 2/9ths a premium waveband. And you need like a full 70 pulls (luck depending) to get another. it's not "the cost" of a 10 pull at all.

Now that i think about it people often say that Verina is the Nahida of Wuwa, but she is more like the Bennet of Wuwa. Here since launch Fast rotation Ulti who buff and heal The fact that a healer as strong as SK didnt simply powerceept Verina show of strong she is as well.

She's similar, but is completely balanced by the fact that she only buffs ATK %. Bennett gives an absurd Flat ATK boost to any character in the game that completely breaks the balance of the game. Every future character in Genshin Impact basically had to be balanced around him, making so many new 4-stars fall flat on their face.

You know if for example without prior knowledge of Youhu and Thicc Hamster as 4 stars, if someone only sees their combat animation and design one would probably think they are a 5* character that's how much care they have put into their 4* to the point we can main them and no one would even question why because they just look really nice and probably feels so good to play as well In contrast with Genshin, sure Bennet, Xiangling and Xingqui are too strong they are even before jokingly called by old players as "6 stars" because of how ridiculous they are but you rarely see them used on field all three are just the types where you rotate on them use E and Q then swap out they are just literally buff and reaction bots

To be fair, 50-75% of Genshin's roster consists of E Q bots. Wuthering Waves' implementation of concerto energy and outro skills is what makes the game so much more satisfying to play, and 4-stars all having unique ways to build that gauge that require you to leverage their entire moveset for maximum efficiency makes the game shine.

Yuanwu is actually really good for jinhsi for the coordinated attacks if you don't have yinlin and skill for yinlin

I dont quite understand why people say Yinlin is better. Yuanwu can just plonk his skill down and call it a day. Yinlin needs to build up her forte before doing a charged attack, which takes too long for the rotations. Also, Zhezhi would be the best for Jinhsi anyway due to her outro buffing skill dmg on top of having coordinated attacks.

While I find Yuanwu very niche (he is the best FP2 support for Jinhsi with a practically permanent coordinated attack), I think he's a bit underestimated as a sub DPS/tank character, just like Taoqi. Maybe Taoqi is better shielding at base, but Yuanwu also give the team high survivability with his dupes. But yes, the 4 stars characters of WuWa are just built different. Danjin's mains finding their way to solo every single content in the game only prove how well she's designed: very high risk, but very high rewards. Not to mention Sanhua who has both the quickest concerto energy regen and rotation in the whole game, in addition to a very decent damage for a 4* star character that's not focused on being the team's main DPS.

I mean i do hope that Kuro continues the current trend in wuwa but a fair warning from a pgr player, that further down the line Kuro might start making 4 stars more of a fun test unit for unique gameplay rather than usefull, yes they will still release useful ones but Kuro does like to have fun with making unique combat styles and presenting them as 4 stars first and maybe implementing a 5 star version if the players like the gameplay enough.

I wouldn't say that Yuanwu is "gathering dusk" in general. For people who don't have Zhezhi, he's a very good partner for Jinhsi as he can help her fill her Forte extremely fast. And sure, Yinlin can help too, but, almost everyone who's currently playing Wuthering Waves has Xiangli Yao, so it's much better to pair her with him than with Jinhsi, so, for the moment at least, Yuanwu isn't completely useless. And hey, who knows, maybe in the future, we will get a character who's kit allows them to deal a lot more damage to enemies who have their Vibration broken, in which case, due to his abilities to break Vibration meters really fast, he'd be a perfect partner.

I think not all 4* in HSR are crap. The problem is that some 5* are so OP that trivialize 90% of the battles, making 4* just a useless to build. Also building character in HSR is a pain in the ass. If you have Acheron, Firefly, Run Mei, Aventurine and Huohuo you can pretty much bruteforce contents that some 4* of the right element struggle. They made the gap too big since 5* is the one that bring the money. That being said I really want Lumi. She's too well made. I hope her kit is as amazing as her desing so I can start to call her an "4,5 stars"

I won't say Youhu is the best 4 star unit but I would say a unique unit and probably fun to tinker at. I like the fact they add her in coral shop so people that hoarding corals would get to access her easily, tough luck on people without corals tho (friendly fire)

Taoqi literally carried my account before I got good dps echos, I was quite unlucky when it came to echos main stats(usually hp and def). Taoqi still carries my account through her shields and dmg reduction, she even deals good dmg. I hope we get another shielder unit in the future. The other 2 shielders need copies to get shields or quicker shield setup, Yuanwu(s5 iirc) and Jianxin(s6). Every other 4* units were also fun to use and are actually viable unlike most gacha games with their 4*.

I don't know why so many poop on Mortefi. I am fortunate enough to have him at S6. Although I only have his Forte at all 5's, he has 240% Energy Regen, making him my go-to for my Jinhsi team. After I raise his weapon, Cadenza, he'll have much more! This lets him pop his Ult and switch to Jinhsi quite often.

The reason is wuwa is action arpg and you can clear everything as long as you have skills 5s is way powerful but 4s is very useful for the team wuwa good job

I am currently a F2P player and honestly I have never missed a banner except zhe zhi, well balanced game and the dodge counter mechanism is the best, I am playing since Jinshi's banner and I have all the 5 stars except zhe zhi and I got all of them within 160 pulls for each of them

I been playing Taoqi since day one thanks to Changli banner many underestimate her role due to her being slow def tanker but she actually the Noelle of Wuwa being that fun and comfy if you aren’t obsessed with rotations plus she’s skill buffer which gradually becomes valuable with more characters

Hey, Yanwu main here! He is a great Jinhsi partner who is much easier to play compared to Yinlin (I have both of them). Because of his DEF scaling it also means Bell Borne Echo has additional utility for him which in combination with another Bell Borne Echo on Verina turns Jinhsi almost completely invulnerable on top of his coordinated attacks that are super easy to trigger! So i suggest you look into his capabilities more, I think you'll enjoy what you find :)

I agree on Kuro being awesome, though you're wrong about Honkai Star Rail 4 Stars. Well, mostly. It's true that they're kinda bad in general, though you can still clear the game with them except for the hardest content. But Gallagher and Hunt March 7th aren't the only good ones, though those two are outstanding. Tingyun is also great, though you want to make her tanky because she seems to have some hidden Taunt mechanic, judging from mine and seemingly everyone else's experience with enemies hitting her much more often than others. But others are good too. Qingque at E4+ is a great Quantum DPS, especially if you pair her with Sparkle for more SP. But Pela for example, at her max possible Trace level, is the best defense shredder in the game, decreasing the Def of all enemies by 42% for 2 turns, and with a good build and some RNG you will have permanent or nearly-permanent uptime. Herta is also one of the best characters for Wave gamemodes, though she needs to be paired with Jade to really shine, but that is true for every other Erudition character currently in the game (though the upcoming 5 Star, Rappa, won't since she wants a different type of team). As for others, Asta is also a very good buffer, but she falls short of any 5 Star. Lynx is a good healer, and works well if certain DPSs that want to be hit (like Blade or Clara), and has Cleanse on the Ult. Moze is a very good Follow-Up attacker too if you have his Eidolons, but you'll probably want to use March 7th instead anyway since you get her at E6 for free. The others though, are indeed, from garbage to meh at best compared to other characters. But, again, you can still clear most of the game with just 4 Stars.

genshin 4 stars were so strong compared to other characters that 3 years into the game they release a pyro 5 star claymore dps that in its entire rotation does the same dmg as 2 ticks of 4* xianging off field pyronado... and then other than specific use cases 4 stars they had released like what 3 usefull and just 1 of them usable without copies in the 3.5y i played, i hope this game does better on the 4 star front, just the fact that the buffs are instantly available rather u need to get character 7 times to do anything is a giant improvement.And in this game there is a giant skill ceiling that wasnt there in genshin since you just mash the same rotation and 98% of the time everything works as expected, its just crit or reset no other skill ever was needed.

Nah cause alto, Yuanwu, and Taoqi are hella useful. Yuanwu with jinshi is a deadly ass combo, with his sequences he’s an absolute menace. Taoqi is also pretty good with jinshi and like you said, she’s a good shielder Alto/jianxin or alto/yangyang is also very good as he’s an amazing main dps and the aero damage buff works prefectly with yangyang as her secquences make her a pretty good nuker

I'm sorry but... HARD DISAGREE on your star rail take. Like... Asta, Pela, even Hook for a while were all really good 4 star characters to invest in. Asta has proven to have aged like wine especially in a firefly team. Yukong is insanely good, the only issue is that you have to speed tune her. I even think Xueyi is a spectacular addition to any break or follow up team provided all your characters are On-Element. Like I'm sorry but you're just wrong here.

Kinda agree with this. Hsr somewhat did 4* better than genshin in many ways per right now. But yes, they do need time to cook for them, but at the very least, they can be absolutely a niche pick if you've built and slot them into right team (although different cases for healers, m7 alt, and pela, since they are more of general use imo)

Agree . But DanHeng Hunt & Hook is trash though . I wish DanHeng self buff is turn based instead of hit based . It usually hard to sync his self buff with his ultimate . It is his main source of damage . Also anyone here ever use Qinque without Sparkle ? Unlike Inbibitor Lunae , she is skill point hungry with RNG & her follow up is also RNG . At least Xueyi is easy build nowadays thanks to M7 , MC & RM wth Watchmaker set . Moze is awesome sub & main DPS in FUA team . I use him with Topaz , Aven & Tingyun in auto

Quite misleading unless you play those characters yourself, hook is practically garbage after somewhere in patch 1.4. ASTA is only usable in MoC being nowhere as usable as Ruan Mei which most people has now. The other slot is now filled with Galagher and HTB. Yukong is dead by the release, speed tuning in this game isn't easy as it sounds as Speed is the hardest stat to come by. Pela is the one of the oldest 4* that actually still get used today. Otherwise most of them are technically expired which is why they kind of stopped even making new 4* as they're practically useless. Meanwhile Wuwa tho...

The problem currently with main dps Aalto is for some reason one of his sequence nodes and one whole main skill tree talent for some reason buffs his heavy attack which is the wierdest buff ive seen since he's a gun resonator, and a guns heavy attack is the aiming mode. So it kinda wastes one of his sequence and talent tree since that attack is kinda useless.
