I love the demo he gave of the different kinds of clipper motors
@wbfaulk Жыл бұрын
The 14000rpm spec is actually 14400rpm, but that's in countries that have 60Hz electrical power. In the UK, where the electricity runs at 50Hz, the clipper will be running at 12000rpm. Not really a huge difference, but it's nice to be correct.

A few mistakes: Magnetic motors have one arm not two. 76 Oster's case is not indestructible. Just hit it with a hammer and you'll see that hard plastic shatter. Also the 76s will get hot. I personally use two of them and alternate them because of the heat. The Andis is a steamy hunk of hot metal (imho). They are heavy, clunky, get hot fast and the case is so smooth that it gets slippery. Some grips might help. The only good thing about them is that you won't have to go to the gym after work because they are like lifting dumbells all day. The cordless Masters are lighter and so will your pocketbook be after shelling out $225.00 for them. P.S. all clippers get hot if they run a long time.

McRonald Thank you for informing me - I shall be having some stern words with these two chancers - this sort of stuff is totally un-acceptable
@donracor14 жыл бұрын
You are 100% correct. I will provide one recommendation in agreement with you. If you are a smart Barber you need two of everything. Clippers and Blades.
@O1OO1O14 жыл бұрын
All will get hot, as you said. The relevant question is: how long can you use them before they get too hot for comfortable use?
@67NewEngland8 жыл бұрын
I have the Andis Masters. They are nice but my one complaint is the comb attachments do not have a good secure locking system and can pop off in mid-cut.

They do tend to get really after using them for a good amount of time. I was surprised when they guy stated that they "stay cool"...I'm like...nope!
@ajtrevino36638 жыл бұрын
+Gus Tavo I'm sure he's comparing it to the masters and osters. I have all 3 and the masters heat up the fastest. which is why I use it for fading only.

Moh The Barber I went and got a pair and used it. It barely cut any hair off my head.
@mohthebarber69059 жыл бұрын
That's odd... Did you mess with it at all and what kind of hair texture do you have? If anything get some classic 76ers and get a 00000 blade or an Outliner Blade and it will get the job done no matter what kind of hair you got.
@djtakinitback97179 жыл бұрын
Moh The Barber No issues with hair texture. I did get the #00000 blade. And I already have the outliner. just trying to use all three so they don't get dull with me using one particular Clipper all the time
@mohthebarber69059 жыл бұрын
If you're cutting only yourself and you got the 5o and Outliner don't worry about dulling

TUTORIAL G you're full of shit bro, the wahl seniors, super tapers, icons, legends, sterling, even the heroes are magnetic motors..now the pilots and nuggets and detailers are pivots, but Wahl is known for the seniors.

Again a video that could have been good but you are letting yourself down with simple production values. Sound from holding the mic in his hand, and all the noise in the background. Also, I hate to say it but if you are going to have a review, get a guest who is a little more articulate and discriptive, perhaps he is nervous. Nice information about the different textures created from the different devices though, that is interesting.
