Hello my friend, It was great meeting you on the West Highland Way. It's great that you told me about your KZbin channel. I look forward to watching all your videos. I particularly liked this video from the West Highland Way, also because we walked the trail at the same time. It was nice that we met several times and also saw each other in Fort Williams. All the best to you and please keep up your videos! I really liked this video. You made a very fitting choice of music for your recordings. I was really happy about it. All the best to you on your journey and maybe we will meet again! Buen Camino, Bernhard from Germany :-)

I don’t know how I missed this when you posted it Nick but lovely to see my wee country represented. I lived in Scotland all my life and despite having been on the Camino three times I’ve actually never done the WHW. You’ve put me to shame 😂. Definitely on my list for 2025 now.
@NickLivingLife6 ай бұрын
I was a bit worried to put a “Way” rather than a “Camino Way” on the channel in case people didn’t have interest but the WHW is very similar to a short Camino like a busier San Salvador 😊
@grahamwallace6 ай бұрын
@@NickLivingLife I’m planning the San Salvador from León then Primitivo to Santiago some time mid to late September. Hopefully the weather will still be fair and it won’t be too crowded.

Great video Nick!! Seems the weather was very kind to you for Scotland at this time of year. Scenery was almost as good as the Camino footage. Thought you may have popped into a distillery or two on the way....🙂 Looking forward to your Portuguese trip.

You've captured some beautiful footage of the route, mate, nice work. I hope you managed to get your shower after the end of day 3. I remember that stage being a bit of a killer and wanting it to end when I did it a few years back.

Nice video . We thought of staying at Kingshouse when we walked 2 years ago . They wanted 400 pounds for one night b&b ! We did what you did and the trek from Bridge of Orchy to Kinlochleven was hard. Most hotels after Drymen seemed to be ripoffs so we used b&bs and youth hostel - and long days !

Hi Nick it's been a while. Great video as always. I like your thinking re packing video after completion. How many miles did you do each day in the end. To think I would have already completed WHW early April if I hadn't broken my foot hey ho🤷♀️ I get to see it through your experiences so I'm ready for next April. Oh and so sorry you got bitten by a tick. Curious to know about that experience. Humble gratitude 💯🙏 HM 💚🍀
@NickLivingLife6 ай бұрын
My lovely friend 😊. I’m happy to do it again with you (if you would fancy it) if it’s early April and timings work as long as I don’t have to plunge into the icy loch waters (I’m sure you will 😂). I’m still keeping my eye on a red mark on my leg to make sure it’s not a tick I missed. That could mess up this Camino as I would need to come home and get on some antibiotics if it doesn’t clear. I’ll certainly wear long legged clothing next time. 😊

What a very nice video, thank you for sharing it. Can I ask how you get on with the X Mid Pro please? Do you get any problems with condensation getting on your sleep system?
@NickLivingLife6 ай бұрын
Hi Ian. Thanks for that 😊. This tent is the best I have with regards condensation (of my single skin tents). Everything is a compromise though. It manages it by having lots of space and LOTS of ventilation which can be more of an issue in cold and windy British climates causing many to opt for the solid version. I wanted this one to also be of use in hot and dry climates and may adapt the internal mesh walls with some light pertex with magnets to give a wind resistant floor area. Amazing tent though, feels like a palace inside. 😊
