Bro, I don't have a suit, just some pants and some shirts for weddings... But I love to wear a dress watch in winter, with a sweater, jeans and some dressier shoes. It dresses me up, really! P.S.: That lovely old Prim! It's not too small, just today's standards, looks good on You! Mohammad Ali wore the smallest size Cartier Tank, yet no one would have dared to call him feminine! (I have been looking for a Prim Diplomat in good condition for years...)

I love the colours on this, and the size is perfect. WHY would you want a smaller watch? Of any type. Also, a watch without a date is like a car without a radio. I have two dress watches with no dates and they drive me nuts.

Once I heard or read that a proper watch size is when the watch only covers like 80% of your wrist width from the top view… but… screw that😁 I sometimes like to go bigger… And the idea with no date on a dress watch in my case is - I would probably wear it only once in a while for a dinner or a party… one night… just easier to set and for that occasion and enjoy the symmetry of the dial:) but for the watches I wear throughout the day I totally need date… DATE!!!!

For some reason I just assumed the bambino was something like 36 to 38 mm, I didn't realize how large they were. I had been considering one but decided against it for the same reason, not enough occasions for formal dress

Yeah, it is a bit difficult purchase to justify for me… I am not the most formal person 😂 shorts and t-shirts all the time… but this one somehow feels like a watch I could take for a spin more often than I thought 😁

I wouldn't consider dress watches for suits only, and even a suit doesn't mean black tie but I think dress watches are on more the casual side as long as you don't dress to sporty. Like a dress watch should go with a polo shirt for example.

It's basically like casio writing water resist on their watches, without specifying the depth which would mean 3bar, the weakest wr. lol
