Hey Jesse for the front seats I think you are supposed to tuck that part of the seat cover that hangs over the switches behind the plastic. I’ve seen other seat covers that do that for a clean install.

Hey bro, love the great looking truck.. also dig the video.... However I would like to think you installed the seat covers on the wrong seats. If you look I would think your seats have side impact air bags? The opening on the seat cover for them is facing each other in the center of the vehicle which is not good for many reasons. The most making your side impact seat air bags worthless and possibly dangerous. I would think if you removed the seat covers and reinstalled on opposite seats then the front seat covers would fit a lot better and then the side flaps should fit down between the plastic cover for the controls of the seat! Just my 2 cents from watching this video

Jesse, i pulled my front seats out to install the covers. You can tuck all the extra material behind the plastic trim where your seat controls are for a much cleaner look and then the little straps with the hooks can hook together underneath the seat. It looks soooo much cleaner

hey david, so overall it is a great seat cover especially for the price you cant beat it but yes on hot days it does tend to get sweaty i usually just crank the ac a bit and it helps

i noticed he did not put the seat covers around the head rest plastic holders. The seat covers stretch around the holders with the release and look factory. My 2021 the seat covers had the proper fit to go around the lumbar support which was a very nice surprise.

How do you tuck in the straps on the driver seat electrical connectors? I want to have the strap on top instead of underneath since you have to tight them down I don’t want pressure to the connectors and seat motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Front seat covers are on the wrong sides. Airbag flaps go toward the door side. I did the same thing when I put them on my jeep. Never changed it. They were too much of a pain to install the first time so I just took my chances. Nice video.

Cut the strap maybe. It’s just to hold the belt in position. Holds no safety value. I rather do that than take the bolt out. My truck is brand new as well

Hey Jessie your front seat covers are on the wrong side. The little flap on the front seat cover side is for the airbags that are located on the outside of the seats.

I have those on my 2019 Tacoma and love them. I think you have the driver and passenger side reversed. There’s a flap to allow the side air bags to deploy which should be on the outside.

The seat covers need to be swapped. That patch is for the airbag to come out on the side of the seats. Just bought me some and installed them. Looks good brotha

My small dog his hair is super easy to come off but I also have a husky and that one does get a little embedded to the fabric it’s removable but it does get a little more stuck so I suppose it depends on the dog hair but then again these seat covers aren’t for that you can always buy the seat covers for dogs that way it don’t get ur seats dirty

DO NOT WATCH this if you're looking for instructions on how to install this set of seat covers in a Toyota Tacoma correctly. Front seat covers are on the wrong seats so the side airbags won't deploy correctly. Power seat controls are covered up instead of the cover being tucked behind the panel.
