@@aisamsonreal Thanks for the breakdown! Really helpful to see the strengths and weaknesses of each AI video generator. Hyper seems to nail realism, while Runway offers high resolution. Pika adds a stylized touch. Great analysis!

I have been using Runway since it became available. With the rest of the tools combined, it is still my go to. I have tried the other ones for my music video but the combination Midjourney and Runway kept turning out the best. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIHUXqp3paimbZI (from 1:09 it is Runway video material, the first minute is a superzoom made with MJ and After Effects). I tried the rest, even Kaiber, but I could not use it for this.

Even in an industry moving as blindingly fast as this one, the capabilities of Sora are beyond anything I thought would be possible anytime soon. It certainly looks every bit of the 10,000 GPU's and $500,000,000 they burned to make it. I reckon it'll be quite some before open source catches up with this one.

Runway is a step ahead in terms of realistic renders. I use it for a trailer of a movie set in the fifties and it definitely crank out some interesting clips. But still the glitches make the experience excruciating sometimes and re-generating become the new copy and paste.

I don't think it's fair to compare with Sora. None of those tests with Sora were live, so we have no idea how many generations it took to get to the videos we actually saw. We also don't know if the videos from Sora were cherry-picked and whether they accurately represent its overall capabilities.

While the video showcases several image generators, I believe that the best one is not included in the list. With the right prompt engineering skills, it's possible to achieve results similar to those of paid generators like Sora, without using any images and for free. I have examples of this on my KZbin channel, where I've explored a variety of video generators and found that the best one is not in the list presented in the video. That said, this is a great video and I appreciate your work in discovering and sharing knowledge. I follow your channel with interest and thank you for your efforts!❤

Hi great video! I am looking for a video generator (preferably image to video), that matches realistic sounds, NO voice over or text, and keeps things quite simple - one basic frame/ scene. I really like Pika but the videos are too short. I mostly want it to create nature scenes for eg the same waterfall for 2mins. I feel extending Pika videos looks kind of complicated and hope to find something else. Do you suggest any other ai apps/ programs?

I don't think Sora level A.I. video will be available this year. It's an election year. That might give the others time to catch up too. But I think we're looking at about a year from now for when we'll be getting Sora level A.I. video. Same goes for Alibaba's EMO A.I. and Microsoft's VASA. And even still, there's still notable artifacts in Sora, so it may not be until two years from now for when we'll be seeing actual Hollywood-killing video capability. When compared to other forms of entertainment, I would say that Udio puts music generation as almost on par with SORA in terms of A.I. development. It still has artifacts and you have to parse through segments in order to get something good, but it's coming along pretty significantly. So in terms of making a music video that's indistinguishable from a professional work, I give it two years. And that's only because companies may be holding off their technology because we're in an election year, and they want to bring these kinds of industry breaking tools to the attention of the elites to prepare for a potential major transition in mass entertainment.
