I’ve been using Lexel for my mosaic work for years, and it stands up to harsh Wisconsin winters. It truly is the best.

Lexel is great. Just practice before applying for the first time. Can be very tough to use. You don't have much work time and you absolutely need to spray it with a water/soap solution. Goes on much more like Silicone rather than Caulk. Will set super clear and gorgeous.

Sounds like this could be used to reattach shower floor tiles?
@Sashco15 күн бұрын
You could do that, it will remain somewhat flexible, so maybe test a small area first!

Going to start using on basement floors to seal cracks for Radon installation. Need to create suction on floor that will last.

What’s the best way to tool/wipe lexel? I’ve been using for years and have never had great results if I needed to clean up a joint/line. I absolutely love the product don’t get me wrong. I would just like an option to cleanly wipe or tool a mistake
@SLICK-GLN11 ай бұрын
You can use paint thinner to smooth it or cleanup tools etc

i know this is a bit of an older video but can this product be used on a painted concrete wall to mount acrylic laminated UHD foam storefront letters? in replacement of 100% silicone

We always recommend a "test" before an off-label use like this, but it sure is sticky stuff.

Gonna have to be Lexel with such a high application and service range. Typical acrylics need to be applied above 40 degrees and stay above for cure time.

Can you use lexel over 4200? I stripped and resealed my kayak bulkhead and it is still leaking. Can I just go over the 4200 with lexel or will I need to strip, sand, etc?

Ask yourself this, if you have repaired a severed 240v electric line with wire nuts and electric tape and have to burry it in a low wet area do you want to take a gamble and incase it with this stuff or do you use 100% silicone that is the longest lasting most proven caulking on the planet.

Ask yourself this, who in there right mind would burry a spliced wire with wire nuts and tape…PERIOD?!?!? come on man
