The Best Amethyst Pocket Ever Found! Purple 💜 Mine Part 4

On this episode of The Crystal Collector we are once again back at the Purple Heart Mine in South Carolina. This is a private location that we have had the privilege of digging a month out of each year due to it being on a farm. This last January was the annual dig and we hit a "once in a lifetime" amethyst pocket!
This turned out to be a phenomenal find, with 45 minutes of pulling out world class amethyst!

@@AB-cq9rk I keep looking at properties in that area, Arkansas, because of the crystals and caves, and the low cost properties. dream of selling my house in Ohio and moving this year, fixing to get a little vintage camper fixed up and hit the road to explore the area and crystal hunt soon. Brian.......I hope you know you're one of the luckiest rockhounds on earth!!! I've watched ALL of the Amethyst digs probably 4-5 times now (at least!!) and I just can't get enough of it!!!! If I'm having a bad day I ALWAYS revert back to your videos digging for Amethyst and it takes my mind off of my pain etc!!!!! SO wish this was not a "private" area cause I would LOVE to do one last dig of my life right here!!!! Us "aging" rockhounds KNOW just HOW special this is!!!!! YOU STRUCK GOLD!!! I have always been an agate hound but you may have mined me out of Minnesota. The joy you have at finding these gifts of earth is contagious and thing is I totally understand how you feel- there is no feeling quite like it. Amethyst in Canada is so different with all the chevrons.

The Crystal Collector said, "The best Amethyst ever found well this can't be topped thanks for watching this will be the last episode..... can't top this Boys and girls.... go big or go home and we didn't go home..... Edit addition: ya know what would work well for the fine detailed digging other than a screwdriver that could damage the crystals is a "bone" windshield molding tool. I used to work at Safelite and I used them often during installation. Harbor Freight has some plastic tools that would work and they are cheap. (If you are going to complain about Safelite, save the "I hate Safelite" talk, I don't want to hear it. I got in a motorcycle accident and they took care of me, giving me a extra week and a half of vacation pay I didn't have during recovery. Not many companies do that for anyone).
