That's a great how to video! I'm might have to try that when I learn to have a lighter touch. I bend the regular axles easy enough and don't need to be fooling with a softer metal...lol I might try the tube method even though it's more work involved. It might be a better way for me at the moment.

To crimp the rod I use a pair of Irwin crimping pliers the big one that looks like a tomahawk like 30.00 but they do a great job !! At lowes or home depot
