Hey I just wanted to say I started this game a little over a year ago, and I become super invested really quickly, even so much as getting 820 points in the most recent CC. Your last point about new players getting spooked by off banner 6 stars is is so accurate. I remember getting goldenglow and surtr in a single ten pull on the Ines banner, neither of which I had at the time. You can imagine my excitement. Thanks for all of your hard work, I'm glad to see new content creators as several of them quit when I was only just starting the game.

I've made my module rating in the past on certain AK facebook group, so i know how much effort you've been put through on these content. I never find you repeating information unnecessarily and everything you say adds to the video. Honestly, I would be happier if you managed to talk for even longer during your videos!

I think some kind of meta review would be lovely. In a game like Arknights, operators (well, most operators) can seriously rise and fall depending on the context of the game and what certain stages/events require from you. I think there's a very fascinating and valuable discussion to be had about the value and impact of different roles and niches, and would help a lot in pulling the general conversation away from "deploy SSS tier" and towards how the game rewards (or fails to reward) playing into certain mechanics and opportunities, especially while Contingency Contract remains off the radar, which is usually the horizon that ties our meta discussion together. And lovely Q&A! Thanks for the consistently amazing content, and great respect for doing all of it next to your regular job. Here's to a good 2025!

Yii Arknights' (currently known as Yii Anime) departure was truly the biggest impact to this community. Man, i miss his bits in between segments so much. I still wonder why he left us really quickly... fly high, Yii Arknights 🕊️ 🕊️ Anyways, congrats on 20k! I also started playing Onmyoji as my first gacha and quitted it for the same reason. I chose Arknights because it has diversity in the playstyle. I can have fun messing around without worrying to compete with anyone else except myself and my creativity. That's what I like it.

Older operator rating is a good idea tbh. You can just do it like your module rating and put an extra column at the end of each operator row titled "Last Updated". Plus you would only need to update older operators rating if/when they get a new module which tie in perfectly with your module rating. Regarless, i understand that this would be a massive undertaking and would be a time consuming blackhole to work on

As a Rhineknights player silence alter is necessary because you don't really have a way to buff physical damage to really warrant copying Dorothy with mumu. Astagenne and ifrit are awful to copy, and Mayer you want on the field right away so you can get your early game block with her meeboos. Though for regular play just copy mudrock, I would argue Dorothy isn't even worth it unless you need multitarget bind and ranged damage and you don't have Ethan built for some reason

Arknights is my favorite game and you are my favorite Arknights content creator. I definitely appreciate the fact based takes on characters and mitigating bias to the extent that you do. I don't think you need to do ratings for every single operator or even every single 6* but I do have 2 thoughts. First, tier lists aren't that bad, I feel like you have a strong negative stigma about them but keep in mind there are over 300 operators in the game and that is overwhelming to a new player to try to understand every single nuanced fact about them. Something like a tier list distills this down to a consumable degree that allows players to make decisions (granted they will be slightly uninformed decisions but it's still better than analysis paralysis). You can always build in a disclaimer that almost every operator can shine when used for their intended purpose. That being said, I'm not personally looking for a tier list from you but it shouldn't stop you from doing something else you want to do. My 2nd thought is that rather than doing an operator hindsight for past operators why not make a scorecard rubric that you can just share some quick information about operators. I.E. have it calculate the single target dps, dph, total damage of every skill, the aoe dps, dph, total damage of every skill, any status or cc the operator can apply, etc... Just a bunch of quick facts that you can spit out from excel or python. No ratings necessary, no script, no in game footage, just data. Understanding that not every operator will be able to be calculated simply but you can knock out the majority of operators this way. You can even create a simple format for youtube to just put them out as shorts without any script or in game footage or anything time consuming. You can spend a few seconds on each slide and people can pause it if they need more time to read. It will probably take a bit of time to do the 1st one but after that you should be able to pop them out quickly. You should be able to use some of the resources that you are already using in your hindsight videos.

2:40 i think must people misunderstand silence alter because while s3 is the bold one, s2 is better in must stages. sure s3 gives an operator immortality and has more up time, but it can only be used 2 times in stage so the value really comes down. s2 at m3 has 24sp with 12s up time, gives her 60 aspd and a drone that increases her talent to 3 time for operators in range. the 12s may look low, but she is healing once every second with 565 atk (e2 lvl60 module lvl3) for a total of 6780. her drone gives a minimum of 30% sanctuary that increases with hp loss to a maximum of 74% in 30% hp. it is increasing by 0.6% with every 1% hp loss so even at 50% hp your operators have 60% sanctuary, receiving less that half the damage. she may not be the best "healer" in the game, but this much sanctuary with a good sp cycle and healing is way better than what people think of her.

Just curious, i know enmity is not supposed to be used if their self healing or their own survivability not enough for the stage. But if i want to bring them everywhere and want to have dedicated healer for them, between CE s1 or thorn alter s1 which is better in practice? (CE s3 is prob better since its burst healing type instead of consistent healing hut prefer afk skill for the task)

About your survey - is it based on current operator state on global or cn? Not sure how to rate Viviana - with her delta mod she gets a bump by at least 2 points. For now i gave her a 3, with mod it's either 5 or even 6.
