The Best and Worst Album Art of 2024!

Man, that Blood Incantation album art is my #1. It quickly jumped to the top of my list after seeing you display the inside and back cover. So cool! I also love the Alcest, Dirt Poor Robins and my God, the Beardfish art is amazing. Love all the art you featured here (and thank you for featuring us!). I think Anciients is probably my personal favourite of the year. The one great piece of art I feel is missing from this list is Oddleaf's new album - the artwork is really beautiful. Re: True, I'm leaning toward it being a joke/troll at this point. The font and lens flairs like they're off a hiphop album from the late 90s, Jon wearing sunglasses he's probably never worn before or since, the fact that he's holding the microphone like that, which as you correctly not you SHOULD NOT DO (the whole reason the microphone is in that complicated shock mount is that it's incredibly sensitive to vibration and if you touch it you'll get thunks and scratches on your vocal track), and JON DEFINITELY KNOWS THIS as he's been a recording vocalist for almost SIXTY YEARS, leads me to think it's a joke. It's still absolutely god-awful though. But it is pretty funny.
