I play in a H2H cats league. Every year I pick 2 cats to punt, then draft based on the remaining 8. This year I punted PIM and hits. We'll see how it goes. In the last 5 years I've finished 1st - 3rd - 2nd - 1st - 2nd. Should be ok.

it really depends on league settings. if shots are similar to how they are valued in default points, i am not a fan of Point at all. When I can get center like Larkin and Zib 5 round later, or even Scheifele and Kadri 12 rounds later.... the value just isn't there with only center eligibility This is especially the case in leagues that count hits as well. Eriksson Ek all day over Point in terms of value there

Lane Hutson will be a top10 D. Matheson aint lasting PP1. Hutson is ready and the best thing I've seen on the backend in a long time. Periphs wont be great but he's an automatic 45-55 assists this year and he's underrated at blocks, he's always in the play, watch him turn back on defence to be put himself directly in front of the puck. Korpisalo is at least a 50/50 starter this year at worst. Boston can pull a Tampa with Vasilevskiy and wait on Swayman through the first two months. It's actually in Swaymans best interests as he wants an 8 year deal and the cap hit can be much higher than 8.6M cap space that Boston has atm with Swayman missing two months. One of Thompson/Knight/Wallsteadt will be a top10 goalie in points leagues. Those starters are bandaids boys and these guys are simply better.

In really depends on your league settings brother. Luke Hughes was great last year but in most leagues he was trash because no peripherals. Hutson’s periphs will not be good. I will not draft him unless I was in a league where they were barely weighted. I think he’s a stud though. We’ll see what happens with Swayman. I think they get a deal done soon but that’s just my 2 cents. And I agree about goalies. So much variance, injuries, etc. that’s why I am generally avoiding drafting them too high

Now with camp underway we’ve seen that Boqvist is getting reps on the 1st unit and Forsling hasn’t had any looks. Nothing is 100% confirmed but I am not drafting Forsling because of this

@@Yuuuustupid On initial reading here I would say yes drafting Brady at 6 is completely viable. Shots, hits and PIM all favour Brady heavily. Only advantage for Drai is the heavy powerplay weight here but Brady should feast in this league
