Very Early NHL Breakout Predictions For The 2024-2025 Season

There are many more breakout players I am very high on that will be discussed soon (Celebrini, etc) Also, some moves have affected players such as Luke Evangelista (no longer an opportunity for top six minutes/PP1 with recent additions) Minor correction: I said Brandt Clarke was drafted 6th overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft but he was drafted 8th

Zellweger has actually looked really solid on D. I’m not saying he’s gonna be an Elite level defender, but he will be a capable defender with possibly elite offense. Love your recognition of the Ducks!

Worth noting for the duck players is that they had rather bad PP and PP deployment. The special teams coach is horrible but his contract is expiring now so I hope they hire someone who knows what they are doing. The veteran PP unit was usually deployed as PP1. Should definitely pay attention if the Ducks fix that for next season it should help bolster the production of the players featured here. Mintyukov was deployed as the PP1 QB to start the season but they gave Fowler the spot which really killed Mintys production. Definitely think a lot of the Duck guys will be overlooked at the start of next season so a good chance to pick a few guys late and reap the rewards. Love the video man keep making these!

Yeah, I hated that they split the powerplay usage as well. Have a dedicated first unit. Ideally, they move Zegras and have this as their PP1. Gauthier-Carlsson-McTavish Zellweger/Mintyukov - Terry

@@firedupfantasy Not sure what they'll do. Zellweger on PP1 and Mintyukov on PP2 seems likely. Think they keep Z on PP1 as they have Leo Infront of the net which suppresses his playmaking ability. They need Zegras on there to help the puck movement. At least if they intend to keep Leo as net front guy. Duck have so many promising players but only 5 PP1 slots. At least it's a good problem to have.

i have 3 remaining keeper spots in keeper dynasty league, choosing between: Raymond, Cooley, Guenther, Michkov, McTavish, Stamkos. Stammer clearly the best player now, is this the time to shift to younger step forward? Other keepers are pretty solid.

He’s a little older than most of the people on this list but I think people are sleeping on Dmitri Voronkov. I think with a better supporting cast and more opportunities we will see his game develop further. Look out Shitsburgh.

This guy knows. That kid is huge, and at one point he was playing as the top line center last year. I’m aware it was because of injuries but still. He was still potting goals and making things happen. He’s more than capable. Kid is a stud.

Trocheck, Bouchard, Pettersson, Forsberg The last one is tough. Boone Jenner is a CATS stud but can't stay healthy... plus some uncertainty about his role next year and if he's traded. The safer play is probably Jarvis. Werenski could be a play (I think he's super underrated) but he also can't stay healthy and he doesn't hit. Go with Jarvis or Werenski.

I joined a keeper league (16 people) 2 years ago, I'll be doing my second draft in October and was wondering if you could give me some advice. I've spent about $1000 in waiver moves in 2 years and have the best picks the league has ever seen because of it.
