what people forget about the green flu from left 4 dead is that its airborne and only a select few people are immune to it. And even if you are immune to it you can still be a carrier for the disease and spread it to other people. Then there's the fact that all the common infected zombies are running zombies and can run arounds in massive hordes. And of course there's the special infected zombies too throwing a curveball to any would be survivors.

I’d say they are atleast a top 5 maybe even 3rd place they ain’t beating the Necromorphs and absolutely not beating the Flood. But they really are more intelligent than most give them credit for the fact that if they kill you they can pick up your armour and weapon and use it against you in order to fight you. And sometimes just spawn with Lesther, Gold, Chainmail, Iron or even Diamond Armour (yes they exist I’ve seen it with my own eyes) is a reason they should be higher.

World War Z video game has chargers (8 feet tall walls of zombie that sprints full force at you, grabs you, then slams your skull into the floor multiple times), lurkers (seek and search zombies that find ambush spots and ambush you (quiet shits)), spitters (acid and virus projectiles, 2 shot Insta turn), screamer (yell out with a megaphone, kiss stealth goodbye, 30+ zombies come in on your position) and bloody boomers (a zombie with a concerning amount of c4), that not to mention the normal zombies, who are running normally (they will catch up to you), with high levels of hearing (1 gunshots and the zombies within 100 feet are on you), and they commonly make swarms consisting of 1000+ zombies forming waves that all run at you, form ramps up 50 feet+ walls made from swear bodies alone, all while the special ones are mixed in. These swarms need the preparation of d-day to take them out because each zombie soaks up pistol fire and rifle fire 2 shots minimum to take out, the only insta kill is close range shotgun fire and headshots (and you try getting perfect headshots on 30 plus bois sprinting at you, (don't get me started on shotgun that close)), rifles take 3 and pistols take forever, normally your dealing with 30+ at a time and swarms have, yet again thousands! World War Z did not deserve that low of a ranking, I'm telling you! It's on par with days gone at least!

It came out when I was in highschool and literally everyone who played video games was into it. It drove the zombie craze through the roof for games and I think it was a small part of why The Walking Dead show was made. Zombie stuff was hype back then.

I’d say this is a pretty solid list the Flood would body all the others on this list the Necormorphs are the only one that could atleast somewhat fight back. But in the end even with their huge moon sized Brethren Moons, they still get bodied by the far larger and infinitely more intelligent Keyminds which can grow larger than full on planets and sometimes even larger than entire solar systems. Tho the Necromorphs are easily 2nd place only out done by the Flood. Tho I must say Minecraft Zombies should atleast be in B mid to high Tier maybe even a very low A tier. They are actually more intelligent than most give them credit for. The fact that they are able to spawn wearing Armour and hold weapons is deadly, I’ve actually seen them wear All armour but Netherrite so Leather, Gold, Chainmail, Iron and Diamond and who knows maybe there are Netherite ones out there somewhere. Also they are able to pick up the armour and weapons from players and use it against you that’s actually really smart of them. And trust me it’s annoying as heck whenever it happens. Solid list tho i subscribed as this was pretty sick good job 👍🏻

One of the least mentioned ones is the Scorched Plague from Fallout 76. I mean Fallout isn't known for its zombies per-say, but Scorched Plague has to be up in the top tiers. 1. The main spreader of the disease are mutated & irradiated flying bats with the health of a flying fortress bomber, that can also use sonic blasts and toxic gas against you 2. Humans aren't the only thing it infects, as it looks like it can infect nearly everything in the Animal kingdom. 3. The disease mentally degrades the person, but not enough to get rid of their basic functions. An infected person still has a conscious (physically they cant do anything), and they can still use firearms/explosives against you. 4. The disease is slow and painful, with you just being turned into a shallow husk once you've been infected for too long. 5. In lore, the plague nearly wiped out all of Appalachia. Granted, this could be Bethesda covering up for bad gameplay mechanics with the plague, but I digress. 6. There is no cure, just vaccines and inoculations!

Don't forget: In Minecraft, steroids is the law of the universe. Mortal men are able to smash through solid stone with their bare hands, given enough time. Those same people are able to remember how to equip themselves just because their brain can handle being torn in 2 by a zombie plague, and may even have enough consciousness to remember a friendship they had. Modern humans aren't that cool, so if the Minecraft zombies do infect anyone, they probably would not have enough brains left to put a helmet on. If we introduced the undead from Minecraft into our modern world, their every scratch would have a 100% infection rate and be able to withstand a real beating. Sure, the ones they do infect would also probably be dismembered as well since the Minecraft dead would be able to tear through modern tissue like wet paper, so those that they turn would be less effective than normal. I just had an idea. Minecraft zombies (And skeletons) can arm themselves with guns, too. Imagine standing over a vantage point over a crowd of the less geometrically-advanced corpses and suddenly one of the dead dudes blows your BRAAAINNS!! away. Considering guns are intuitive, meaning one can easily figure it out, the Minecraft undead would definitely be able to shoot you. Yeah, the Minecraft zombies would be unique and impossible to recreate in the wild world of today, but they'd be some Chadtastic corpses. Fun fact: The Minecraft plague is airborne. Combine that with the sheer raw power of Minecraft, and you get infected by breathing. Gasmasks may not even be able to stop it. So between a select few real undead threats that can't quite replicate themselves and the airborne threat, it's a local apocalypse, but it isn't a worldwide wipeout.
