the most interesting part of this movie and something most people miss is the fact that Dr. Octavius knows about the cellular decay that Peter is going through and knows he will die if he stays in this dimension for too long. and yet she BLATANTLY lies to King Pin's face and says he will get his family back at about 30:05 (or she would if it wasn't cut off) it's so fun seeing how they don't like each other, supported by the way Doc Ock raises herself above King Pin when talking to him so she can look down on him. it's small details like that that give so much life to these characters, their world, and their story :)

@@milkflavored Here's something to really mess with your mind: comics Aunt May has briefly married Doctor Octopus (well, Otto Octavious) at one point. What that could mean in terms of this universe... up for interpretation, but I had a chuckled and double take when I heard that in the theater.

If she knows about the cellular decay, it's very possible she knows away around it like the Spider Society's bracelet. She's smart enough to know her boss would not be kind once his newfound family starts glitching out of existence.

@@snvhillWell, Olivia Octavius said only her friends call her Liv, so I doubt it was anything romantic but Aunt May and Liv because then Aunt May wouldn’t still be calling her that since there’s beef.

So much heartbreak in just a few minutes 1. Aaron gets shot 2. Miles watches him die 3. Jeff finds his dead brother 4. Peter chooses to stay even though he know he will die and never reunited with MJ 5. Peter gives him one last chance to go along and the others wait outside having hope (u can see Gwen’s hope fall when he can’t do it) 6. Jeff comes to talk to his son 7. Jeff tells him he loves him, and says he doesn’t have to say it back and he thinks he isnt saying it because he doesn’t like saying it but really he physically couldn’t at the moment, and Miles most likely really wanted to say it back this time and probably just wanted to hug his dad. It’s weird because I’m not an emotional person at all when it comes to real life, but movies can break me easily. Anyone of these things could’ve broke me alone. I literally spent the past few nights watching Coco, Wish, and How to Train Your Dragon 1, 2, and 3. And cried on all 5 movies 😂

So while doing some quick fact checking, I learned something about this movie that I wanted to share. In the beginning, when Miles was first learning the ropes, they animated him on twos (his fps was 12 instead of 24), which makes him look choppy against the background & Peter, which were framed on ones, but at the end of the movie, he was animated on ones. I also read that each character was animated with differing frame rates, which if true goes to show how talented they were when making this movie. You can't just find a group of animators & tell them to do this, you craft this with time, dedication, & love for what you're working on. Amazing movie, hope to see y'all react to the new one. P.S.: didn't realize the video was over an hour long until I paused around the 40 minute mark. You don't realize how much time has passed, when you're enjoying yourself. =^._.^=

in the whats up danger scene, in his leap of faith, it shows his drive is more than his fear of failing. When he jumps off the building and the glass breaks becuase of his hands sticking to it, shows his fear and not fulling relaxing. But his push from the legs that launch him off is stronger. He is scared, but he want to help the others more. This shows the growth and taking up the mantle of spider-man. He is willing to go out of his comfort for the safety of his friends.

This is one of the movies that really... kicked off a lot of the best animation trends in the last several years. Don't get me wrong, movies were doing very well at being very realistic, but this one kind of helped to give them permission to be hyper-stylized again. I LOVE Miles' arc... learning how to take that leap of faith. Given where I was in my life when this first came out, that leap of faith will never leave me. He’s the guy Tom Holland ties to a truck lid and interrogates in Spider-Man homecoming. He’s played by Childish Gambino. Back when the first Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie was announced to be in preproduction casting, there was a fan campaign to have Childish Gambino cast as Spider-Man. A bunch of “individuals” complained Spider-Man can’t be black, Stan Lee said he absolutely could. A few months later Miles Morales debuted in the comics!

One of the animators in this movie is the animator who did a short in Tales of Ba Sing Se in Avatar The Last Airbender.

Here's the thing - you're absolutely right that this film looks incredible. One of the best-looking films ever made. But...the sequel looks *way* better. Hard to believe, but it really does. It's amazing.

Peter B Parker is a slight variation of Toby Maguire's Spiderman as he doesn't have biological webshooters, but had an identical life path even up to MJ.

Peter B:uncle Ben Spider Nior:uncle Benjamin Peni:father Gwen: Peter Ham:uncle The story for all spiders of the spiderverse is of loss and sacrifice. But through all these tragedies they gone through they've done more good to honor the ones they loss. With great power comes great responsibility. A lesson and creed all spiders live by.

You guys talked over it. Spiderman, at the beginning, said that he had been Spiderman for 10 years. That's why he was a grown man.

As absolutely amazing as the first one is, I'd argue that the second is even better. I'm really praying that they stick the landing with the third film because the first two deserve a proper finish.

This is one of the few animated productions where the filmmakers that, unlike live-action that limits their movements because of a tight budget, they can just go crazy with the shots and the art. This movie is why I prefer superhero media being animated.

I always go back and forth, but this is my favorite animated movie of all time. Mostly because I didn't think it would be this good but I saw it opening night and left teary-eyed.

Depends on the question, just the animate part or including the finishing of it all, aka when they remove or keep scenes in or not.
