Would be nice to see how or what you hooked the red and black leads to coming from the fluke meter and the other meter. Like did you have them connected to the iphone? If so how?

Do you set your mid/high amps at -5 db like instructed by the DD1 manual? If so, can Audio tool be set at different db settings..I haven't found it on my app yet if you can. I use the files downloaded off of Rockford Fosgates site for the 360.3. Just curious...

Yeah, we really only use this for setting the SLA on the radios and not the amp gains. For that we do the same, use the disc or the Rockford files on a drive.

Like video even though I don't have an iPhone, so I'll wait for the android version. Now can these app help to test a tuned subwoofer ported box or is there an app for that?

Also no iPhone, waiting for Android tests.

Lucky for me my phone still has a headphone jack, so I am using a headphone jack to RCA cable.

better get those lightning connectors ready. I wouldn't use Bluetooth for serious audio testing.
@MrSpanky4738 жыл бұрын
Why not, if that's what your using as your main source?
@repairdrive8 жыл бұрын
I use it as my main source for listening to most music but it still doesn't send full frequencies correctly enough for testing.
@philindeblanc8 жыл бұрын
He isn't sending full F, just the 40 and 1000Hz. Maybe enough to set gains. I have a JL HD600.4 amp and JL recommends 24.5 volts to the speakers. Not sure how that differs?

When the Nex radios came out we tried to come up with a test to test the quality of the new Bluetooth. We set the volume to fixed point and played test frequencies though it. We measured the output voltage from the USB, aux and Bluetooth. Surprisingly they were all very similar in outputs. I don't know if this is the best way to do this type of test, but in the end this test showed very little difference between the three. If you guys want us to redo the test and make a video let us know.

I guess using pink noise. Maybe ther eis a SNR test that can be done? But perhaps there is a "benchmark" in output to use as a base?
