Justine, you and Ron are such good people. Ron's prayer was so compassionate for those affected by the hurricane. I subscribe and watch both of your channels. I dont often comment but I want you to know, you and Ron have kept me company this past year as I went through, chemo, surgery, radiation and now immuno infusions. You make me smile and took my mind off things. God is good, I'm doing well. Occasionally I see a comment that seems a bit sarcastic or possibly hurtful. I want you to know you are loved and appreciated by so many of us. God Bless!

I live in Massachusetts and we are members of Sturbridge Village .just this past Saturday they fired the kiln, and members were invited. It took two days of continuously feeding the fire to get the temperature up to 1900 degrees. Then they bricked it up. No where else does it this old authentic way anymore. It’s was amazing to see. I jumped when you mentioned not only Old Sturbridge Village but the firing of the kiln as well.🙏

I love your time period because most of the 1800-1820s time period is represented by fancy regency ball gown English people and I love seeing the clothes and home designs of the period but in someone who is representing not only an American frontiers person but of a regular socioeconomic class. It gives me a lot of pride in my country. Thanks. : )

I was just talking to my folks the other day about what I was going to bake for our Thanksgiving dessert this year, and I think you two have once again given me my answer! Those puffs look SO DELICIOUS! I can't wait to see them being cooked and subsequently reviewed by you two tomorrow! 😃 I hope everyone is having a most wonderful week so far! I'll try to make the premiere to chat with everybody, as long as work doesn't get in the way! ✨

My parents shared the same full size bed their entire married life. They have both passed now and I have their bedroom set. I often look at the bed and wonder how in the world they shared it all of those years…it is barely big enough for just me! 😂😂😂

Of course, prayers for all in the path of the storms. It is cool to support your favorite authors. One way to check out reading material? Your local library. For years my husband wanted hard cover books that cost a lot. Now he goes to the library, gets to read first additions &, this is huge, saves us so much money.

First of all, with every 10 years you are married your bed gets bigger. We never thought it would happen, but it did. FB is AWESOME. We’ve bought so much stuff for our farm and our buildings. PLEASE… the next time you go on a road trip PLEASE come to Greeneville, TN. That’s where Andrew Johnson lived, Davy Crockett’s birth place, and Jonesboro (oldest town in TN). Me and my family would love to meet you and show you around. Plus do some antique shopping Justine!!❤️

Louis L'Amour is an author I absolutely loved growing up. He also writes fiction (both Westerns & some historical fiction). He loved packing history into each of his stories. He collected diaries and such and would base his stories on that.

Wow! What a coverlet! And amazing it held up so well over the centuries. A few Sundays ago, a visiting priest showed the congregation a coverlet was well taken care of by generations of his family since the 1840's. The design, front and back, was perfect. The workmanship on these old coverlets is awesome!

This looks amazing!!! Apple desserts are my favorite! I really hope to make and taste this! I think my children and husband will like it too! I’ll just have to use gluten free flour since I’m unfortunately allergic to gluten…but hopefully it will work out😊 I usually buy whole milk too when I can buy Raw, sometimes 2 percent. I love your content so much❤️Thank you for sharing! Apple crisp is my favorite, being it tasty and easy (my Mother’s receipt)…who knows if this will rival it!?!😂 Although, they are a bit different… Also, Sturbridge Village was my favorite place growing up!!! I used to dress up to go in period clothes! I always dreamed of working there… when I had children and living in NY ( LI) I’d go with them once a year or so… We are now in FL,so it’s been too long and I miss it so, but I cannot wait until I can go back!!! Anytime I’m there I feel like I’m home ❤
