You can do the “chameleon marker” gimmick with Ohuhu markers/any alcohol marker. It’s all just alcohol so after you use it for a minute all of the “other” pigment on the tip will come off. It works so much better for me than blending straight on the page and allows for more consistent results than blending straight on your artwork and risking it drying too quickly or just deciding not to blend well for no particular reason and ruining your hard work.

When you add all the values you can get layering one marker not to mention layering different colors you’re not gonna have a swatch card you’ll have an actual swatch book for your marker case! @@user-th8px6np1v the marker brand,Ohuhu sounds like“oh, who, who” is Hawaiian. Many of these are different languages. Wait till you get into water color there’s even more brands around the world. It’s definitely not gibberish. You need to expand your horizons and think global these products come from around the world. We are lucky to get our hands on all these products. What does suck is when the video doesn’t include a link or show the name of the product on the screen and you have to try to figure out how to spell a foreign word because different countries spell different sounds differently! Then good luck-it’s like spellcheck on a bad day lol They also sound different when people in other countries with different accents, say the names using their letter pronunciations. Have a good day, create something beautiful or meaningful today.

5:13 Thats actually because when this paint maker dries then you can draw over it but if its still wet then you can blend with it its the same with both markers hope this helps.

typically paint based pens , you need to blend while the are still wet and continue going over it and adding layers

"...and that special art supply is my phone!" *holds ipad* btw shrimpy, with paint/acrylic based markers, they work well as a starting point for your blending (base colors) when i use paint markers, i use colored pencils to finish off the blending. this makes blending cleaner. also MAKE A VIDEO ON COLORED PENCILS PLEEEEZ

oh trueeee! theyre really good for that too, I've seen heaps of artists use them for a base and then using like Prismacolours on top! And ooooof I literally never use coloured pencils hahah, that'd be stepping outside of my comfort zone (shh my ipad can be whatever it believes)

I have a question : I love using mix mediums, usually watercolour + alcohol markers + colour pencils ( I do use other art supplies like oil pastel + watercolour...etc ). So, should I buy papers for watercolour or papers for alcohol markers?

I definitely reccomend you use Mixed media paper instead of marker paper! Cuz with marker paper, it’s usually really smooth and the pencils and watercolours won’t work very well on it. However, on the mixed media paper, watercolours work amazing, pencils look great, and markers also suprisingly look really good too! So that’s what I reccomend :)

I actually use 2 of the same desk! The pre-made L-shape desks weren’t big enough so I bought 2 large black desks and connected them :)
