It's nice to see that the quality of his videos was always good.

4:38 This is now my favourite quote concerning Bathurst. I had to pause the video cause I couldn't stop laughing at this. Far too accurate. Found your channel because of the DRM video and am now browsing older videos. They're all really good!

Thanks Tiles, much appreciated. I'm still working out the ins and outs of how this youtube/video thing works, so some of the videos are more of an, err, experiment than others!

Which was turned into a shopping mall in Southern california which there is no shortage of I can assure you, he said bitterly. That part sounded like you were reading an audio book. You would be great at that btw! Haha But great gameplay and reviews. Awesome video thank you!

Really solid list. I've seen a few people recommend Riverside at this point so i definitely need to give it a go. Think the rest of them i already have and they're some of my personal favorites to race

Thanks Mad Hatter. If you've tried Bridgehampton, you'll know the quality of Lilski's work. They are both absolutely top notch in my opinion. I think Lilski is now working on the Mosport track that's in development on Race Department as well, which is excellent news!

Nice video. I might go get some of those tracks. I've driven both the real Mt Panorama (it's actually a public road) and this mod and the mod is pretty good.

I didn't know any of that. What have I been missing? Do you know if a good version of the old Osterreichring - with Bosch and Jochen Rindt curves - exists in any sims? Another great snappy video - I look forward to watching your sub count grow exponentially!
@ChrisHaye6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike. There is a mod for the classic Osterreichring layout, it's a conversion by the Assetto Corsa Reboot Project guys - actrackrebootproject.wixsite.com/ac-track-re-boot
@RobinBooze4686 жыл бұрын
On Assetto Corsa the mod Chris told you is very good, and on Automobilista you have the old Osterreichring on the base content, including the 2 layouts (fast kink or chicane on the first turn)

I would gladly pay for Gingerman raceway in Michigan and Autobahn Coutry Club in Joliet Illinois for Asseto corsa. Do you know any decent moders that would be willing to do it for commission?

Hey Chris I have a couple more recommendations for you: LilSki has just released Watkins Glen and boy oh boy it's every bit as good as Bridgehampton and Riverside. It's a must-include on any list of tracks I'm recommending to anyone ever. Go get it immediately! The other track is Thomson Road Grand Prix, which hosted the Singapore Grand Prix in the 50's. This track is just.... it's just amazing. It's 2.5km of twisty roads literally through the Singaporean jungle, yet doesn't impact your frame rate. Oh and there's a jump. On the main straight. Actually, on a bend on the main straight. This circuit is flat out incredible. If I may link one of my own videos to demonstrate: kzbin.info?o=U&video_id=ZSYVB-Gw3xw (It's from my "Quick Hits" series so there's no commentary, but you get to see the circuit) Both available on RaceDepartment. Also, there's a Donington 1938 mod which is pretty amazing although it's not as polished as the two above. It does have stone archways and farm buildings to avoid though, so that's always fun ;)

Hey Viperion. Sorry your comment got caught in the KZbin Spam filter (probably because it links your own video). I've been playing with the Watkins Glen beta, it's excellent, as you say. Will have to have a look at Thomson Road, as I was in SG for work last year, and it sounds a bit crazy! Will watch your vid when I'm back at home.

fucking shopping malls... the amount of money most people waste wandering around a shopping mall on a saturday they could have afforded to spend the day at a race track... surely most people would have to agree that would be more fun? whether racing competitively, having a casual track day or just spectating. i dont understand modern man. that being said for the amount of money i have spent on my gaming rig/ whel/ vr etc i could do track days or something too, what a hypocrite. i was honest in the sense that i literally HATE wandering around shopping malls though, there is very little i like less
@ChrisHaye6 жыл бұрын
Haha - yeah, I think it's probably best that I don't start comparing what I've spent on the hobby to all of the other stuff I could have done!
