How do you like your VRS wheel base?

Hi! Is it possible to use more buttonboxes at the same time? For example I want a button box above me but also next to the steering wheel? Hope somebody will see this comment hha

Owned 3 of those, starting with Logitech G27 bundled shifter, TH8A, and now Fanatec. Logitech may have felt better with a better mounting position, but I only had desk back then. TH8A I used with a T500RS and Open Wheeler cockpit from Amazon. Had a great time in Dirt Rally and PSVR on PS4, but sold everything when PS5 came out and it didn't work. Having shifter require a separate connection to the console was a PITA tho, many games would have trouble recognizing it. Fanatec I have had for just a few weeks, liking it so far. Really appreciate being able to switch between H-Pattern and sequential without needing to take screws out, unlike the TH8A.

From my personal experiences, when using low budget wheel like TMX, you don't really need gloves, but when you use high budget wheel, you really need gloves to protect you from getting your hand skinned. When I tried using Simucube 2 pro without any gloves, my finger was skinned, and it just hurt too much.

Only thing I need now is a FFB wheel. This really hit all the issues right on the nose.

Never mind all these "FOV calculators". The correct FOV will be one where the monitor shows what you would see in front of you in real life. You are making a compromise with using a monitor smaller than 100 inch by making everything that you can see smaller than in real life so it can all fit into the monitor screen. That's all there is to it. Things in the distance too small? Get a bigger monitor.... What!, your FOV calculator is saying use 30 degree FOV with a 20 inch monitor?... Bullshit...

What is better now to buy? Green-Hell😅 or American track pack?

The only motors I've felt this smooth are simucube and simagic. Both use 5 pole servo motors unlike other brands using 15+ pole servo motors. So these are the fastest most reactive bases on the market. Doesn't matter if you use low or high settings it's gonna be extrmeely fast and snappy. Catching slides have never been easier. Also as you see they practically catch themselves! As you proved in iracing.

Hello, please I need your help with my triple screen. I have an Nvidia Rtx 3080Ti graphics card so 1 HDMI and 3 displayports. I am above all a gamer so I plan to put HDMI on my 65 inch TV for my action adventure games. Then my 3 displayports on my triple screen for SimRacing. My question is if I can have a two main screen (my 65 screen for my action adventure games and the middle screen of my triple screen as a second main screen) I took a long time in order to explain it better, please help me if there is a solution for me. Dirt Rally 2. It looks great in video, and amazing game to play, I'm addicted, but I've just tried DR2 in Quest 3 pc vr, somethings really off with the depth man, I'm flat out in 5th gear and it looks like I'm going 10mph? What is with that? Everything is squashed, like 1 mile is squashed down into 100 meters or something 😂, not impressed. Anyone else notice this? Huge FOV problem here. Back to flat screen for now as its so much faster

Great mod. The Chaparral 2E had a driver-controlled rear wing and front flap (controlling airflow in the front), effectively giving the car DRS. The control was with the driver's left foot as there was no clutch to work given the car had an automatic transmission. It would have been cool to see this feature activated in the simulated car as it would have given it more realism.

Exaclty! People go real real real real! No we need or want those extra forces and or speed to tell us more information since when really deiving you get that from other things! So for us to get real workd performance not necessarily real feel sll the way we need those extra forces and speed! It helps up with everything. Which yes does mske you more consistent and can translate to speed. I did get better with one even if some may not think you can. You can get super good on anything but with a dd wheel it helps you mobe foward s bit faster because you lesrn the queues easier and faster.

Hello, I use sim racing to increase my performance in real life but I am confused on one point and I need your opinion: When learning a new sim racing circuit, should I do it by using circuit demonstrations or by going there without prior knowledge? NB: which of the two will be more practical for facing real life

Is there any reason not to go larger than 32? I’m looking at a couple of turnkey options and the more expensive ones have 40 to 50 inch monitors but I always thought 32 was the sweet spot. In a money no object scenario what is the best screen size? Thanks.

Thanks for your video. I do have the American track pack. I wish more American tracks would be made for ACC and other SIM racing games. Missing in some games are Mid Ohio, Portland, Long beach, Detroit, Sanoma, Road America, Road Atlanta, Riverside, and Vancouver. I don't care if they are not GT racing tracks, just add them Please. The two games I have every American track are RFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa and all because of 3rd party modding which newer games do not provide. Seems everyone is more interested in International tracks and race hours on end on the new Nord track. Oh well, I can always hope for more American tracks. But not holding my breath waiting. I will continue doing my RFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa racing on American tracks I know and love to race on. Take care.

My rig cost $10! And a $300 12gb ram laptop with an old 940mx graphics card. Got the HORI ps3 wheel and pedals for $10 from a recycling shop. I have the cheapest set up imaginable. Runs forza 5 fine on low to medium settings 😁

Seems like with the right setup you could make both an ebrake (just on and off not pressure sensitive) as well as a sequential gear box shifter. Even a H shifter.
