@@whatsgrowingon nah i agree that a fishing channel should be about fishing, this is a Christian fishing channel with a Christian as the host so I mean I don't think it is out of line for him to talk about that. (especially when he has a whole merch line about his relationship with Jesus )

@@whatsgrowingon Our relationship with Jesus reigns above all else. Even though it’s a fishing channel, we are called to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” in Matthew 28:19 and we’re told ““And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17. Even though it’s a fishing channel, a Christians primary duty to God is to bring glory to God and bring more people to God so He can gain a relationship with His children and my man is doing just that. added to "Fishing Trchnique" playlist. Man, once again, bringing great content free. Seriously, better content than my multimillion dollar university. Craziness. Thank you so much. I have gotten my girlfriend on some fish and she has now caught her first handful of fish. I wouldn't have been able to make it this far without the instruction of you and a few others on here. As I mentioned before, I had to learn how to build a bass boat from a jon boat, learn to navigate and read water on-top of learning how to bass fish, because I do not have someone here to teach me. So, these videos have in the most literal sense, made me the fisherman I am today. All of this has been within the last year as well. So, I truly do appreciate you and your family for what you do man. You're on my very select list of people I would like to meet.

I'm largely in the same boat. I've always trout fished rivers in Georgia, but a lot has happened so I'm living in Ohio now with my wife and daughter. I've fished lakes maybe 2 times in my life, now that's my only option. So I'm trying to figure out the bass fishing hacks also. Good luck!

I’ve been watching Tyler Berger for a while and absolutely love that guy’s knowledge and passion for fishing but it seems that I’ve found 2 favorite channels now with the same attributes. I’m especially impressed with how you introduce your apparel and the meaning behind it, well done brotha. It takes a certain type of man to mention any type of religious belief in this day and age so because of that you got yourself a new subscriber. I’ll also make sure that all my fishing buddies do the same. Great job with the video. I haven’t used a swim jig for a while cause they just weren’t working for me, but now I know why. Looks like I’ll have to upgrade my jig tackle and give it another try. Thanks again man, I gotta go check out some more of your videos 😂👍🏼🎣

Thanks Tyler. I'm always pleased to see a believer seeking to make a meaningful memory, especially in our hobby. I am a professor who researches what I call the development of rational meaningful detachments (RMD). A RMD is an intentional pause in the midst of a high alert environment. In other words, it's a meaningful break. And that's how I view fishing. It is one of the best coping skills that believers can engage, gain a fresh perspective, reinflate, and bounce-forward in the high alert seasons of life. Keep on being a meaning-maker!

Unrelated to the topic but Tyler my question is I put 12 lb test on my line and ever since I’ve been having issues keeping my Choppo on the surface of the water up until I reel in most of the slack. My reel is only rated for ten and I never had this problem until I changed I’ve been using 8 lb mono previously. I even bought a brand new Choppo to try out and still the same problem. This is on a spinning setup. The line I switched to is also mono so it isn’t a braid problem

I don't understand how it makes a difference in using a baitcaster as opposed to spin casting. All I'm used to is spin casters. I have no idea how to work a baitcaster, but it doesn't seem too hard. I just can't understand what would make a difference and why depending on the conditions where you're fishing?
@TylersReelFishing Жыл бұрын
The rods are built differently, and the reels operate completely differently. Watch this video for more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4jVqodrmdWri6M
@Mg0936 Жыл бұрын
Bait casting provides more power and a little more accuracy and control (once you get good at using one) Spinning is better for finesse techniques light line and light baits
@danaparks8812 Жыл бұрын
@@TylersReelFishing To me the baitcaster setup as far as the rod is considered, it almost seems to be more like an onshore beach fishing combo in that the reel is up a little higher on the handle than a spincaster setup for bass fishing(freshwater). That difference being the ability to get more swing and power to get your bait out farther would be better achieved. Other than that I have no idea why it would be better to use a bait caster freshwater to use for bass compared to a spincaster. Basically what I'm saying is, the rod makes the difference from what I can see, only. What does the reel have to do with any more of it? Let's face it, who is a real fisherman out there who didn't actually learn on the old push button bait caster? I can, and I can admit to it, but the reel was more or less the same as a spincaster from what I remember. What makes the difference? All I can think of was that it was closed over the top of it with the line coming out of a hole on the top of the enclosure. Other than that, isn't it pretty much the same underneath? I think the spool was set up like a spincaster, but the push button is pretty much the same as the baitcaster. Does that make any difference? That's another thing I guess I'm asking. All and any can respond. I am actually looking for results from different people, since all people are different and have different feelings and ideas of the way things work. If I get a bunch of them that look the same or seem similar to something that I'm used to, I'll probably go and take that advice the most. Thanks to all who can respond!
