Everytime I come to your channel, it's like coming home. Such comfort and love ooze from you to our family of your friends. I have really enjoy having your fellowship. I can't remember if I've been a subscriber for 2 or 3 years..maybe 4. P.S. Been watching Paula Deen videos and she says in the last one that she takes 3 or 4 vanilla beans and cuts them open scraps out seeds and puts it all in a bottle of vodka and shakes it a couple of times a day and after 6 days you have pure vanilla extract to use. She says its cheap to mske compared to the price of the real extract in tiny bottles for $10 at grocery store.

To make your own self rising flour, all you have to do is combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
@cristywyndham-shaw51114 жыл бұрын
I tried this recipe using some substitutes to make it a little more figure friendly. Used non-fat yogurt instead of sour cream, vegan butter, half the sugar, and unsweetened apple sauce. Turned out wonderful! Moist and yummy! Thanks for the recipe, and the tip on ripening bananas. Also, if you have bananas going ripe, you can slice them, freeze the slices in a single layer, then keep in a baggie in the freezer. Makes a good snack (tastes like banana ice cream 🍨), or use later in recipes, oatmeal, etc. Love you Jan! ❤
