This is what made me love Total war games. The longer melee fights gives you the option to shuffle units around where you need them. You can actually use tactics Really well played aswell. I enjoyed watching this.

Your battles with ROP. are the best battles I have seen on YT.. You had to use the army you were givin and make it work. DEI is a great mod and you guys are nailing it in these field battles. Keep it up.

darren made a mistake A LOT of newer players make. He stacked his cav if you have cav advantage spread out it makes your army so much more maneuverable

Know it's been five months. But hammer and anvil techniques are kinda OP. Of course against human not so much. But still split cavalry and imo scare them of a possible flank. Not just keep them together as a big charge against rome.

Jackie, the reason why your formation moves so slow in DEI is because slower infantry is merged with lighter infantry, when i play rome i keep the Triarii (2 speed) in a different move group than the principes (3) and hastati and velites (4) For movement management in the beginning i usually: put missiles and cav in different groups, bows and javelin throwers seperated. Fire at will turned off for all missiles and principes, hastati are left on and put all melee infantry (except triarii) in the triple Aquila formation. Presto instant battle order ready roman legion.

different cultures around the world have used the swastika long before hitler did. for them it symbolises something entirely different, mostly it has religious meaning. the nazis gave the swastika a bad name :/ the romans used the swastika to represent jupiter.

Omg he didn't play aggressive while up by almost 2:1- oh jeez. Unless he was trying to battle of cannae- which is impossible here. Or trying to bait in. When you have the numbers. Especially with calvary. Imo you need to aggro and pick units off and harass so your main force can advance. Then use projectile and other calvary to protect flanks.
