I had a similar experience when buying my first acoustic. Went into Milano's Music in Mesa, AZ and wanted to see the Fender, the Yamaha, etc. The salesman asked if I'd heard of Kepma and we started noodling around. The neck felt like my Strat so I didn't have to worry about a different feel and the frets were clean and the tone was amazing. I bought the one with the built-in tuner and pickups. $300 bucks and I LOVE IT!!! I tried a Taylor, too, knowing I'd never afford it. I liked this better and I could own this one!

Just got one yesterday for my birthday from my husband. 🥰 I love it so far! Cannot believe the sound & quality for the price! Great entry level instrument with a pickup. I have a Blueridge & a Little Martin, neither with a pickup tho. So excited to have an electric acoustic finally!

Looks great, sounds good. Thanks for the heads up. I went with a Crafter dreadnaught. Solid cedar top Mahogany back and sides Rosewood board Bought brand new for $233 taxes in. Cheers!

Great review but my only complaint is that I always hear the same mixed upper-fretted chords with open high and/or muted low E strings that you just never hear in any songs--only guitar reviews--and they start to get annoying after a while. I want to hear some chords that people actually write songs with.
