The side-topspin worked for me quite well even in advanced table tennis leagues...

I do all these and sometimes for the surprise i do something like a flip to create a lot of speed to surprise people eith the speed
@caturutomo44310 ай бұрын
Yes, solid true. As beginner, I found this tricky spin serve easy to execute
@OrangevaleTableTennis10 ай бұрын
You can hide top spin well with it. It is also easy to control short placement for side backspin, like right behind the net.
@Best0f10 ай бұрын
Also for side topspin- the opponent won't be able to return a short topspin serve until he flicks it
@washnery7 ай бұрын
You can hide backspin, too.

It's my favorite serve😏 simple but very good😁

This is a good spin cuz it directs the ball back toward your forehand if your side spin isn’t overcome by your opponents return

My favorit serve ❤

Hook serve is better IMO, translate to higher level very well as a bonus, and when you try to be sneaky and very good at it you will ace a lot from serve against lower rank players
@hawnt2r5 ай бұрын
Well, if we are talking about tricks and transition to higher level, then I think reverse pendulum is actaully more universal than hook serve
@priteshkumar275510 ай бұрын
This is the exact serve that I use...and yes just by changing the racquet angle I get to decide what kind of spin I wanna do

@VoltskkiGaming9 ай бұрын
In my begginer years I tried learning ghost serve and it went well and I made my opponents hate me because of it then after s year I tried to do do the lollipop serve and I learned it which caused me to learn tomohawk serve and the reverse version too
@stephenkaake70166 ай бұрын
I use this, hitting backspin long to a righthand's backhand, or the topspin version to confuse them

Wiggle the racket as u swing downwards! It’ll be harder for most to even guess what spin u did😅

If you really are going for a good racket for a budget you probably should by the blade and the rubbers separately. People have different preferences for these.
