I think only times they could've done that were the first 3 games (Protector of Earth, Alien Force, Vilgax Attacks) (in Ben Prime games anyways), but now it'd be hell to implement just say 50 aliens for example, and he's got more. For some, you'd have to make specific levels and not regular rotation, on aliens such as Way Big, Alien X, The Worst, Grey Matter, Clockwork because due to those aliens strengths and weaknesses, they mesh poorly in regular gameplay. And selecting an alien through any type of selector would be a nightmare. So while a lot of us would love a game where we can use all the aliens, it's not very feasible. I'd say 10-15 is probably the best amount to have where you get unique gameplay on all the aliens and if you implement the selector from Rise of Hex, it wouldn't be overwhelming to select an alien.

When I first played this game a long time ago, I was a little disappointed you couldn’t turn into Ultimate Aliens anytime and only in specific segments but since you mentioned it, yeah it would have been unbalanced if you could turn into Ultimates on the fly.😅

As No Name said, it’s marketing. Cartoon Network realised what a cash cow Ben 10 was, so whenever it felt like the show was getting stale with audiences, they’d do a soft reboot of sorts, which gave them an excuse to say “Hey! There’s a brand new Ben 10 that’s nothing like before!” I think everyone knew Ultimate Alien was bullshit though. It’s why Omniverse was so radically different, and why we got an actual reboot as opposed to another continuation. Now it’s not a question of can Ben 10 come back, it’s when can Ben 10 come back, because he’s so recognisable and is a money printer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes as iconic as Scooby Doo one day.

Actually Cosmic Destruction *WAS* the origin of the evil To' Kustar idea. Destroy All Aliens came, I think half-a-year/a year later. The game was very fluid for me though. No crashing, probably some wrong with your copy. You can also change your four alien any time you want by going into the menu.

Yeah, someone else told me about how this game did the evil To'Kustar thing first. And I know that you can change the aliens in the menu, I just feel like it takes me out of the combat by going to another screen (or whenever the game softlocked doing so).

Apparently, the crashes are in the Xbox 360 version. Back in the day, I played it on my PS2 (I take this opportunity to say that it looked worse than Vilgax Attacks on that console) and I never had those problems.

I was a bit confused on what the ‘speed’ stat does in cosmic destruction, turns out it actually makes the aliens attack a lot faster. Either way I had a couple of glitches in the game but I had no problems with it. This is hands down the best Ben 10 game ever I have ever played.

what i love about this game is : 1. All ten aliens 2. While busted (which is a good thing), its so fun to use ultimate aliens 3. Good ost 4. Experimental and fresh fighting style 5. A bigger areas to play in 6. A massive upgrade from the last two games 7. Bosses, i mean the amount of bosses 8. You can switch aliens without switching to Ben, and there is no cooldown present 9. I like the voices when you switch to any alien 10. Though a bug, but Humangosour has a power of force within him when pushing objects on some floor panels, and basically a W alien for once since his addition in Alien Force 11. I love the facial emotions and body movement, so funny, especially from Ben What i don't like : 1. Rework how health works, you can't regenerate it when transforming from Ben to alien or vise versa 2. Double jump works only if you press it quickly, rather than jump as far as you can, and double jump again to use it efficiently 3. While fights are good, the enemies are squishy that you don't get to enjoy the combat, and the amount of enemies doesn't help 4. Hitboxes are wanky 5. The motion isn't as fluid as in Protector of Earth 6. Perhaps a little more unnecessarily added cutscenes 7. Ultimate aliens can only be used at certain times, and not up to your choice 8. The quick time events, like you said, are all the correct options, but should have let you figure out on the toes what is the logical way to apply 9. Overall Ben and aliens are kinda slow movement vise 10. Its not comfortable to switch between aliens that aren't already picked from the get-go 11. Camera angles suck 12. Buttons are weirdly mapped, like Press Triangle to apply, press X to continue, press X to continue 13. Cheat codes suck though, no confirmation whether it worked or not, no option to toggle it on and off (i suppose to deactivate it you need to retype it, lame), and no extra aliens like for Xbox and playstation series

Yeah. The drawback is Terraspin is literally OP. Great attack power, Special attack, low energy usage and jump attacks are great too. Sadly given to us at the last level.

I thought if they added Raph and Four-arms(Not just for the PS3 and Xbox 360 but at least the Wii.)along with Grey Matter, UpChuck, Eatle, Clockwork, fasttrack and Shocksqautch(from the Heroes United Crossover with Generator Rex) and especially Alien X could’ve been a playable character.(As Special Bonus Add-Ons for the Game). Also instead of just turning having 4 aliens to turn into while you’re playing the game they should’ve made 10 Aliens at least which Ben should turn into All Aliens instead some and instead of Ultimate Way Big his first appearance on that last of the ultimate enemy he could’ve made his appearance on this game first(on that final mission to where ben turns into Way Big (Ordinary) and then fight all the way to get to the evil way(if aggregor and Vilgax helped the evil way big during the cosmic destruction as some evil duo team and try to stop Ben on the last level it would’ve been massive cool) for game and also it should’ve at least let you turn into that alien whatever you want on that next level but anyway though Waybig, Cannonbolt and Wildmutt should’ve been on the game case cover as their Ultimate forms along with the rest of them and it would be interesting to me if ben was wearing the ultimatrix with the potis altiare but although the game is really cool.

I recently bought the ps3 version just to try It out because I grew up playing the ps2 version and oh man the soft locks happen way too often, I can't tell you how many times I had to restart my ps3 because it froze because of this game. It's definitely an issue with the xobox360 and the ps3 versions because I never had any trouble with the ps2 version.

They made the base of the game on the ps3 and the 360 version was a port of the ps3 version hence the crashing but the wii and ps2 versions were built right from vilgax attacks there where even some enemies from vilgax attacks that where ported over to cosmic destruction on wii

Yeah sadly you have to complete the game in order to unlock FA/Rath in Ps3/Xbox.If not you can use cheat for early access and lose all acheivements. Each level is quite long and playing 2 extra levels for upgrading them takes a lot of effort. ""I feel like these two aliens aren't that ground breaking while using in combat like Terraspin,Big chill and Swampfire"". But still I love this game a lotttttttttttt and graphics in Nintendo Wii which i played in. Best Ben 10 game so far.

Sorry for the pretty late comment, but I checked the system cache recently and it only had about 47 kilobytes. The system was wiped clean before I got it and this was the first game I played on the console.

You're not missing much by not having watched Omniverse, FC. It starts off with so much promise, but quickly devolves into throwing ideas at the wall for the sake of filler episodes, and some of the plot points introduced contradict so much that came before, to the point that it introduces a legion of plot holes, and that's NOT including the ones involving time travel and alternate realities! Don't get me wrong, there are some absolutely brilliant episodes and arcs within Omniverse - the Ultimate Albedo arc springs to mind - but for every great episode, there's about ten stupid ones. REALLY stupid. No joke, there's an episode where Ben has to choose between all of his potential waifus - yes, WAIFUS - introduced throughout the series for the sake of winning a crooked game show. I wish I was making that up. Seriously, the Ben 10 reboot may not be perfect, but at least it hasn't resorted to fan fiction tropes (as far as I'm aware). Oh, don't get me wrong; there's a couple of what you might call 'fetish fuel' episodes in the reboot series, but other than that, it's... fine, more or less. A lot of people judge it way too harshly just because of the new art style. You know how it goes; if a new show/reboot of a show has even a surface level resemblance to Teen Titans Go in terms of animation, people will move heaven and earth to SLANDER the absolute hell out of it online.

Yeah I'm sorry but I disagree omniverse while by no means perfect is still an excellent show. It just doesn't take itself as seriously as alien force or ultimate alien did. You're correct there are some great arc episodes like the multiverse one but just because it has more filler episodes doesn't make it a bad show. It was trying to be more like the original. I will admit some episodes are pretty lame the waifu episode was fine to me it was just a cute little tongue and cheek jokes at bens love life. Omniverse as a whole is a solid show its just different that's all if you give it a chance and keep an open mind about it, you'll enjoy it way more. That's what I did and I still love it. For the reboot I never saw it I don't hate it or anything but it doesn't interest me tbh.

As well they literally explained in ultimate alien that everytime Ben meets his future self the timeline of his future changes. at first i was curious about ben 10 with all the alien transformations and whatnot, then they started giving gewn the magic, and finally when the inevitable happened and ben became the earth's messiah.. i simply dropped the trash completely. kevin was never needed, and in fact ben should have been a couple to gwen, giving him another needless female, and then showing how incompetent and moronic he is by solving every single problem he has by turning into an alien even when the problem doesn't require it .. ben 10 from his childhood till the last episode is a JOKE! and a fake god for the stupid kids and teens alike. ben 10 is what happens when you give the developer kit and godmode to someone who never deserved either of them, nor knows how to use them. the merch, the tv shows, the tournaments, etc... ben 10 is not a show, it's a shitty cult, and a money sink, the story makes no sense, the guy sees himself as the ultimate hero even when 100% of the problems start because he is included in them, and with the "new look" for the reboot and his "crush" the abused beaten dead horse, this cow whose milk expired 30 years ago and it's still getting milked and giving nothing but waste .. ben 10 should not exist simply put. they are trying to give him the same treatment as dragon ball. and they can't! i also hate dragon ball. the immortal 4 that are never ending expired milk trash, ben 10, naruto, bleach, and one piece. and alongside them to continue the trash train, my hero's academia, dragon quest adventure of dai, gintama, jojo, and many other already rancid disgusting trash that simply reject to end and die out .. shouldn't be started to begin with it. every trash has its own brain washed cult. that follows it religiously..
