Herc in B tier.... yeah..... Edit: As someone who has both Cu Alter and Herc. I've found Herc to be way more useful in solo/last man situations than Cu. Also Frankenstein in the same tier as Jeanne, Beowolf and Herc.... This list is just bad.

My brother in Christ Herc is at minimum A tier. The argument that he needs his bond ce for him to be good is imo dumb. His bond ce yes improves his solos and overall survivability I get that but without his bond ce he is arguably one of the best if not the best anchor in the game. His face card damage is pretty and doesn't really need to rely on his np for damage(granted his np1 damage is really low) plus I feel like Herc has better survivability than Cu alter. And if u need a substitute for his bond ce you can just use any other guts ce or any defensive ce like the invul or evasion ces. In conclusion Herc is great and deserves to be A tier or higher. Agreed. I'm my experience herc was already great as a last slot servant to help carry when things get hard. The bond ce only made him better.

For a long time, Kiyohime was my anchor (when I was purely f2p). Many times, she'd come in and clean up for my otherwise wiped teams - usually with a bunch of buster cards. Sure, I could have fielded someone like Cu lancer instead - but waifu! She was my first unit to bond level 10, and I've grailed her to level 90. I regret nothing.

Nah, Cu Alter is definitively EX. The playerbase is not composed only by solo or min-turn addicteds, so even if Heracles is better at solo than Cu Chulainn Alter most of the times (not always because being Guts AND CE-dependent, some gimmicks fuck Heracles entirely enough to take off all his 4 Guts in a single turn), Cu Chulainn Alter is still infinitely superior to him in team compositions where he is barely ever hit at all and can deal much more damage with much more utility. Not to say that Heracles isn't EX Tier, since he is the best at his role, however so is Cu.

He's a monster with it on and being a 4 star with a 4 star bond CE He's very cost effective to fit in as an anchor. He's like a breath of fresh air when you think you are going to lose and he pops up to clean up your mess lol.

Thing with Herc is, you can just borrow one. A support Herc wil high NP level will do far better than your own, so there's no reason to focus that much on him.

Summer Ibuki will be released this summer and from what I've read around... his NP1 is equivalent to having an NP2 of an AOE 5*SSR berserker, while his NP2 is compared to having an NP5 of an 5* SSR berserker, in addition to having the highest attack of all 5*SSR berserkers...

Doing tier lists for JP is better since NA players look at the JP meta to decide whom to roll for or save for, whom to skip etc etc. NA tier list don't really serve any purpose. Take my opinion as a bag of salt.

I don't get why you wouldn't take Herc's bond CE into account when ranking him. Yes, he's mid without it, but if you have him, I don't see why you wouldn't just keep him in the team backline until you have it or take a friend support Herc who does have it. I can see arguments for him to not be EX at NP1 because of damage, but he's definitely not B. I say this not even as a huge Herc fan, since I understand most of the playerbase glazes him to no end, but I just don't really get the logic here.

Yeah, there is no logic in this stuff of "no bond CE Heracles", it's just "F2P bootlick". Do you know, those casual guys that swear for their lives that anyone with the smallest necessary IQ to roll for a NP2 Servant is a whale? That if a Servant is only good at NP2+ then they are trash? These are the targets of "no bond CE Heracles". There is a difference between being something hard to get and being something that anyone that is not a casual that barely knows anything about the game can get, and a bond CE definitively falls on the later category. Just don't be a random casual that will be excluded from any decent player's friendlist and you WILL have it quickly enough.

Here's my list. I won't explain everything ( since that would be a LONG ass comment ), but I'll say a few things. 1. There's a lot of units that I have little to no experience using, so for them, I just looked at there kits and factored in general stuff I've heard about them. 2. The further to the left they are, the higher they are in the Tier. So for example Summer Jalter is better than Zerkerlot. 3. Any questions about my placements? Feel free to ( politely ) ask. EX: Heracles, Morgan, Arjuna Alter. A+: Cu Alter, MHXA, Vlad, Galatea, Summer Sei, Beowulf. A: Kintoki, Summer Musashi, Summer Jalter, Zerkerlot. B+: Summer Brynhild, Hijikata, Raikou, Xiang Yu, Ibaraki. B: Penthesilea, Nightingale, Mori. C+: Atalanta Alter, Tamamo Cat. C: Spartacus, Fran, Kijyo Koyo. D+: Summer Nobu, Cha-Cha, Darius. I’ll also argue that Raikou AFTER her later buff puts her in the same tier as Arjuna and Morgan. By turn 3 she out damages them against Demonic enemies and Earth Servants, which is common.

@@sibsart2039 she only has 1t evade, and her single damage steroid when not hitting her niche is 3t 30% buster up. Godjuna gets extreme crits in CQ scenarios, still being able to TA just about every AoE CQ and most ST ones, whereas Morgan is a centerpiece of the Avalon team.

I've found Morgan a solid A unit outside the immortal comp. Her damage mods seem to almost never come into play when she actually needs it, any node with a beefy wave as those big guys seem to never be Man or Fairy attribute. Damage mods are nice but if they don't come into play when you need them she hits like a wet noodle.

Herc at B tier? Really?! This is like saying Melusine. Shuten Douji, Raiko and Morgan are kind of breedable! They are not KIND OF! They are absolutely 110% PLAP PLAP PLAP GET PREGNANT GET PREGNANT tier! My second account got Herc for its very first servant (thanks to a hell lot of restarts) and the man literally carried me all the way to lost belt 7! And this is an NP1 Herc! Even if he doesnt have the bond CE, he's THE Berserker! Even with low star supports, the man can bodyslam anyone that stands in his way! And this may come as a surprise, but getting Hercs bond CE is much easier than you think. Coz once you get Herc, he is NEVER going to leave your 6 man line up. Even if you do get better servants via Gacha (In my chase it was Kama via new years lucky bag), Herc should always occupy the last slot for last man shenanegans. If I remove my bias as a long time Type Moon fan, I'd rank Herc at EX tier!

In this household we appreciate our berserkers. Ibaraki and Penth became my go-to damage-dealing duo toward the end of Part 1. Buff and charge, lower enemy defenses with Ibaraki NP, then let Penth go to town. Still find uses here and there for them, between Penth's buffs and the fact Ibaraki is a zerker who's less likely than others to get taken out early. Nobuzerker's more or less become my modern ST zerker solution to problems. Having fun lately putting her in a music-themed team with lancer Liz and Salieri; works out as an Arts/Buster hybrid strat with steady crit star income and nice control over where those stars go. Morgan's my top farmer currently, no surprises there. That said, I still have my Bunyan/Darius team around for when I just want to speedrun a node.

Nice job on the tier list, @ZTL. Thanks. Based on who I borrow most often, it is Cu Alter, Summer Jalter, and Summer Nobu so rating them highly makes sense to me. Maybe in rare cases I'll borrow Morgan, but I already have my own Morgan. Plus, I've got Summer Musashi at NP4 so she's got my AOE Berserker role well covered. As far as other 5*'s that I have, I have Xiang Yu and Vlad, but I rarely use them.

Double Merlin + Cu Alter was like my jank version of the invincible team. Not nearly as invincible, but surprisingly still durable. Then I'd just wait for buster crits with Merlin NP spam.

I agree that NyAlter can leave a lot to be desired but try running her with double Douman skadi if you really wanna see some decent numbers for her. It’s a team that i run pretty often for irregular nodes like 3/1/1 3/1/3 etc. Shes one of my go to chaotic evil units to pair with Douman essentially every card in the deck is a viable option and you have a 20 star bomb for instant access to stars I agree it would be really nice if she got another crit skill but I feel like she gets overlooked

As a more casual player, I'm so glad that Summer Nobu is at B, she is my only 10 bonds, and is the only constant on my teams. I know she can't be an A not only cause of that learning about her buster card, but since she is also a bit of a glass cannon in some situations.

Morgan’s NP starts hitting pretty hard at NP2. My Morgan is at NP3 and she can sometimes deal ST-level damage sometimes. Still, if her mods aren’t there, it is a bit disappointing.

I feel Morgan is A+ she just isn't on the same level as arjuna alter. summer Musashi I do agree she is A+ but she just doesn't do enough even when buffed to warrant ex tier. Also Nightingale is D tier for a 5 star support to be a berserker. she just is an unusable support right now. what I think they should do with the second skill is 50% battery, humanoid atk and def 50% targetable, 1 dodge to entire party and 100% battery to self, -50% def and focus attacks on self. it would allow interesting extensions to buster comps

Morgan only loses to Arjuna on damage, but she has a lot more going for her than just damage. She may not be the best farmer but she's still overall better than Arjuna Alter imo

People aren't wrong when they say Herc has overall better survivability and thats Cu Alter's main thing. Granted, I don't think he's so low that he'd be in B tier, at least solid A. But man he really needs a skill strengthening.

@@fatcat1697He really doesn't needs a skill strengthening, anything he gets would be just a welcome quality of life since he has plenty of old skills. Yes, big part of it is because he is a Berserker, but that's true for most of Berserkers; it's the strongest class in the game after the exclusive Beast one. Probably you focus on using him solo, in which case Heracles tends to do much better than him indeed, because of Guts mechanics, however in a team composition Cu Alter is definitively one of the most powerful Berserkers out there, with an extremely potent NP with both very high damage and one of the best effects in the game (buff removal before damage), and the means to charge this NP (through supports). With his no-duration evades, he is nearly immortal when paired with Arthuria (which you should, regardless of card typing), because he nulifies the occasional chirp damages, and on top of that he has some team utility with a very potent damage debuff on his first skill (50% Crit Down is essentially crit nulification, coupled with 20% of ATK Down).

@@Rahdwiin I generally compare Cu Alter to his contemporary single target berserker SSRs. His competition are Kintoki, Vlad, Galatea and MHXA. Vlad and Galatea operate under a Castoria engine, so survivability and looping are generally assured. Kintoki operates cleanly with the Koyan+Oberon (Castoria) engine to guarantee three turns of NP nuking. Cu Alter may have survival but he relies solely on allies for buffs and charging, which sucks. If he had that extra 30% charge, he wouldn't feel so off. He could at least starting 3 turn looping his NP. Hell, even if he doesn't get an NP charge and gets regular card steroiding, that means his non NP turns aren't vanilla damage.
