Not exactly, although I agree a PP reworking is likely in the long term. Latest patch didn't target anything to do with this specific glitch, the Tomahawk was affected by the changes in overall grip (most of my cars changed PP after the patch) which is why it's just a few changes to bring it back. You'll have to keep waiting to find out whether you're right then, you probably are...

Idk i used the ft-1 on this race before i got the tomahawk. After they "fixed" the problem the ft-1 pp got lower. Ft1 pp with my tuning was 599.99. now same tune it went down to a number i can't remember because i retuned.

I'm using the srt tomahawk s vgt on Sardegna 800pp and running 1min 37.6 seconds a lap constantly with a near 25min total time. 1 to 2 pit stops and 200mph at two different spots on the track.

For anyone having trouble getting this to work, or you keep getting the PP ! exclamation mark. Copy the settings in the video, ensure you have bought all the tyres available for the tomahawk and just keep swapping and mismatching the tyres back and front. Measure each time to check the PP and eventually it will break. This is what got it working for me.

Coming from FM7 here, just got GT7 yesterday and was surprised at the petty tactics this company is going through to get people to buy credits. I also notice the lack of new cars, rubberbanding, ai straight up cheating if you pass the leader, low payouts, and ai cars being above the maximum PP as stock (like I've raced against vipers which are above 550 stock in a 550 or less race). i used the old tune, added intermediate tires, and raised the back up to 95. That got me to 582pp with only 1300hp which is much easier to control in races.

Best part of it is that now exists various tuning setups which is fantastic. Im using one with Sport Softs and with a max speed of 500. Surprisingly good but all of them do the job well For fuel i usually go for lean until lap 8 and after that i go all in just for a fun quick lap

Tokyo is slippery as hell. Penalties for tapping the wall. I find that It's much easier to grind at Sardegna for 15 laps in the sunshine ($725,000). Or 30 minutes at Sarthe. Still big money ! ! ! Thanks for the info and tips! You da man !!!

This. Yes, Tokyo is faster but half the thing is slippery af and penalties everytime. Sardegna is absolutely chill and Sarthe, while it rains too, is just more fun overall. Spa is also better for a change of pace.

the thing about the tokyo track is with enough practice you can compete it pretty fast. I haven't tried it with this gliched car but when I did it before it was patched I was completing in 19 or 18 minutes. Also from my experiances its really easy to keep a clean race bouns too, I would occanaly hit cars when lapping (not on purpose) and I will still will get a clean race bonus.

You can use this in the SPA 1 hour race and put any tire you own on while in the pits regardless of pp limit. I noticed if you put any tire other than hards on the rear it changed the pp to unknown and stability and rotation g reads zero along with 62-93mph time.

I like the Spa endurance race, but there is a issue with it for farming. Weather is random and that can lead to failed farming attempts.

it is fairly random, i find using RH until ~45:00 mark then switching to wet tires until ~30:00 and going back to RH works quite well. i use a tuned down 787B and i generally wait a couple minutes at the end to save a full lap

I wish I could get one for the S model to run certain roadcar events. I do have a build that sets the Top Speed to 800. It's nuts and under 600pp. Times are sub 1:10 on unobstructed laps. Gear 5/6, Fuel 6, non-stop

As fun as it has been using this method to make money in the game the ffb was making my wrists hurt (I was struggling to get a balance of wheel weight and vibration at high speed) but I'm very much enjoying the new race at Spa in the Nissan Pennzoil GTR GT500 from the legends dealer, in this car the race is just fun which is what I hoped for from the game initially, there are limited penalties (there's a corner cut at Eau Rouge/Raidillon and one coming out of Blanchimont), the AI don't seem as dumb as at Tokyo and I have not once missed the CRB, and the transition from day>night>day is something special. It's also nice not knowing what the weather is going to do and having to watch that.... I've done it maybe 10 times now and have only had one race with no rain, but have managed to eek a couple out without needing inters/wets... It may not be as much money, but it's a helluva lot more fun... (it also helps that Spa is one of my favourite circuits...)

My top times pre-patch on fuel map 1 were below 1.10.200. Post patch it's 1.08.200+ but it's fuel map 6. On map 1 I think you can go below 1.05. but using this map will force you to pit-in so I'd avoid that.

Can you run Intermidiates under 600pp nowadays? I find the RH's to be difficult, especially on first laps. The Tomahawk has so much downforce than even fully red worn IM's were still perfectly driveable.

You can pit and put whatever tires on the car you want on the first lap. I used to pit for inters on lap 1 because the track was so wet but eventually discovered it was just faster in the long run to stay on the hards. If you're having trouble on the RH then just pit after the first lap.

Yep, you're right it is indeed faster but it felt somehow instable and hard to keep control. At least for me unfortunately. Before 1.13 I used to drive RH but somehow I feel very safe to drive full speed on intermediate the full race like on trails. Almost. But I'll give the RH setup a chance. Maybe I have to adjust the settings a bit.

Yep! Same gearbox as usual (big 3to4 hole) Suspension: Anti-roll bar front minus one (so Front 4, rear 5). No other suspension changes from stock. Differential NORMAL (not custom) Ecu 90 Ballast 10kg (position zero) Power restrictor 90 That's it! Over 2000bhp still, a little down on the most powerful but versatile - can start on inters or hards. I've managed a full power setup too, but it has horrific balance and spins itself on a bad flap-tuck, so still work in progress. Feel free to share the versatile RH/inters setup, with love to the GT community.

Couldn’t get it to work, tested at 717 PP; Amended the front Toe Angle to 25 then tested each iteration until I reached 0.21 and that gave me 598.88 PP. Nice.

I also don't like this way of earning credits to be honest but was still curious just incase I do want do this method from time to time. At the moment I prefer to do normal shorter 5 round races in normal tuned cars. For instance, I recently stumbled on a 5 round race on Interlagos, Brazil driving a upgraded Nissan GT-R Nismo '17 with the PP set on almost 700 which is the max. for this race. The prize for finishing 1st is only 63k but it only takes 8 to 9 minutes which is still almost 400k per hour and is just so much fun. I find this way much more enjoyable and rewarding. I'd say just give it a try and find out for yourself. Anyways thanks for sharing your method! 🙏🏼

Only on the first lap...put traction control on 5,fuel map on 5 or 6 and stay in 7th gear for the first lap. From second lap only gear down to 5th gear...that works for me

Ok to get this Glitch to work, you have to do the set up in an order. I'm in the US on a PS4 Pro. I'll try the arranged order and see if that works. And post if I can get the PP to 600.00. I do see that the Tow of 0.09 should be set to 0.01 or the last two numbers will be 26. 600.26.

In your settings sheet make sure nitrous is installed. Buying it doesn't install it, it just makes it available for use.

I've only been playing a couple weeks, almost always use auto trans cause I'm not a good shifter. I have been thinking about learning, though. I'm doing ok making money doing the GT-R race on the Tokyo speedway (usually get clean race and 120k credits), If anyone is starting out and wants a slightly easier way to make some tuning cash. I'm using a '94 GT-R with some clever tuning to make it under 700 (699). I'd like to see some videos on easier credit making methods like the one I'm doing, but I'll get to this level soon enough. Really because I'm afraid that if I burn through the content in something like 2 weeks I'll feel like I wasted my money (even though with sport I literally played in free run lobbies almost exclusively, so...) and on the other hand there are a lot of things I would love to do on gt7.

The biggest issue with waiting the buy the game is the fastest money earning techniques will be patched. Right now you can earn 2.5 mil an hour but once its patched itll be only 1.6 per hour. I wouldn't feel you need to do the money techniques if you got as many good cars on this as sport gives you. You get lots of race cars in spins in sport but during the cafe (which is the career mode) you get turds instead of G4, G3, G1, GX cars.

@@chickenfkeryay I won't mind the money earning techniques since I'll be on summer break and will have time to kill, and yeah I'm sure I'll miss the car roulettes that actually gave something from sport. I'm just gonna wait it out one more month and then I'll just get it.

This won't work for me 😔. The PP rating stays the same or I get a warning triangle. I've tried others too, to no avail. Still, Le Mans is sn interesting grind, considering the weather changes in each race. It's fun to use different cars too

@@RRT_NightShifter1 no...it automatically goes to 580 when you change from "Normal"transmission to "Full Customisable:Racing" so leave it on 580... then only thing is to make sure that gear settings are according to these i posted...then change the few settings i posted and you will be at PP 596.27 with RH tyres

Same gears. Suspension front anti-roll bar minus one (so front 4 rear 5) Differential normal (not custom) Ecu 90 Ballast 10 (position 0) Power restrictor 90 Start on inters, go aggressive and make up time for a stop, then finish on hards. For similar total race time start on hards and don't stop, fuel save and take it easy lap one.

After update 1.13, I stopped using my NLR rig and Fanatec setup to farm this race. I believe PD is trying to troll us with the FFB settings, and trying to destroy our rigs, using the Tomahawk on Tokyo.

I'm using one with 2133bhp sport soft tyres. Use fuel 3 ratio. Pit in end of 8th lap. Can do it in around 14.25 without penalty

If this tune dosent work and you get that danger sign just go to first move it 1 point in any direction press triangle then put it back the same way it was and it should work cuz I just tried it and it worked lmao

I tried this and although the build works, I can barely control the vehicle on the wet surface. And when I get to the hairpin turn, I can't get the car to go. Besides all of that, I have like 15 seconds of penalties every lap because this car slides all over the place hitting the wall. I can easily get 1.65 million credits an hour doing the race at Le Mans. No failed attempts there, EVER. But thanks for the build.
