Agreed. I never, ever understood how this show ever got the green light, let alone approval season after season. I've always been a Britney fan, and I saw her live during the Circus tour. I gotta say--whoever played her in the segment that required the original "Baby One More Time" to be moved upward by about an octave--was a terrible choice. I've been a Chicago stage actor for almost my entire life and if you cannot hit the notes, you don't get the part. Period. Britney is a very, very low alto that can manipulate the timbre of her voice extraordinarily well. *Stepping off of soap box.*
