The KunLun barrel length is spot on, a longer barrel will only impead its performance. Luke's wrong on a longer barrel giving more power, the plunger/barrel are matched spot on... People should be getting between 230-250fps on the baby spring, and 330-350 on the larger spring. Cant say this enough. DONT throw a larger spring in there from a swift or harrier, as it will destroy the catch very quickly, as the catch surfaces are teeny tiny, and there is not hardened surfaces to handle the extra force. Will be keeping a very close eye on the catch, and report back like I did on the Harrier, and see if Sabre will make the parts again if any problem arise.
@outofdarts19 сағат бұрын
In our testing, a 1.8 x 250mm spring is the strongest spring you can reliably fit in this blaster, and that gave minimal performance gains to the included 1.6mm spring. Given that the 1.8 spring caused a lot of barrel turbulence, we believe there still may be some FPS gains to be made by using a longer barrel. We have had no issues with our catch when using 248-265mm long springs.
@nerferx15 сағат бұрын
@outofdarts just tested the 1.4 300mm harrier spring. This makes it super stable at 245-250fps. As for the 1.8 250mm spring, would have minimal precompression, and probably won't affect the catch from excess loading causing excessive wear, but is the reason there is only a tiny gain in fps, as these longer springs work better with a tad more precompression to increase numbers. It's more for the people that have discovered that a cut down 1.8 spring from the Harrier to 270-280mm still catches for a very brief time. As for the barrel turbulence, what was the rifling attachment? I haven't tested the 1.8 250mm yet but will get to it, but the people I know with the cut down springs, had no issue with barrel turbulence, it was still insanely accurate, till the catch failed.

Is the darker top section of the stock a separate section that's screwed or clipped in? I'm wondering if it's possible to replace it with a printed cheek riser or something similar.
@outofdarts17 сағат бұрын
It is a separate piece of TPU, like the grip. If you wanted to, you could remove it and design a riser to fit where it attaches to the shell.
@antoniotruong564714 сағат бұрын
With that profile they really shouldn't even offer it in black (so I'm glad Out Of Darts isn't carrying that color). 300FPS is getting in the "not fun anymore" category when you get hit. I run with a Dart Zone Pro MK-4 and I thought that was getting on the high end.
@TacticalFoamSports19 сағат бұрын
I think it's largely forgotten that fps = distance. This is a nerf Sniper. Distance is why it has power, so reducing that just reduces its advantage against speed! It ain't CQB!
@GucciBodyBags19 сағат бұрын
I’m pretty sure theres several topics in both airsoft and nerf proving velocity(fps) doesnt equal range. I have 250fps blasters that definitely shoot as far as my 350fps Lonx. The difference is how fast the dart arrives.
@TacticalFoamSports16 сағат бұрын
But dude, by that logic, your saying if I knock the spring in the Kunlun down to 100/150fps (as per Luke's spring option suggestion), it'll still shoot as far, but hit softer!? @@GucciBodyBags

@LiamHamelly-fr4my17 сағат бұрын
How do you send half an email? Great video guys that thing looks sweet! As an airsoft player however I can say that most hobby blasters, the kunlun included, don’t really resemble any actual firearms. Small details like the magazine (especially if you have clear ones and you can tell it’s firing nerf darts), scar barrel and firing sound make it clear that that is just a toy. And while I wouldn’t take that in black to a public park, I don’t see anything wrong with carrying the black one on your shop for those who play at private fields. This is just my opinion though, take it or leave it.
